Open your image in paint. Select all and copy. File, New. Paste.

Viola, you can now color it how you want.

Save it as a BMP and then open it with a good image editing program to save as a JPG or GIF without MS Paint's shitty compression.

Or you can save as PNG out of paint if you don't have anything else.
