I don't really care for marxism...If it works that would be cool...if it doesn't then hey we would probally find another better way.

I do believe the war on terror will continue for a long time because lots of people will contiue to believe in it.Truthfully...I don't think we as a mass of people can do anything.

Do you believe that if everyone cottoned on, and stopped believing the hype though? And if so, do you believe that would strip the government of power? Is the power truely with the people, and is it just because we believe too much spin that we are literally manipulated to make the right decisions? Cast the right vote, support the right causes.

But then again, the amount of protest's Bush and Blair have had... maybe we never did have power, never will :O

I have only Windows Media Player. It´s not possible to watch with it this film, neither directly on the site nor as a file.
 
I think how long it takes for people to realise the truth and that the fear tactics used by governments to keep them supportive, all depends on the intelligence of the general population...yes, i think they'll be able to carry on for a very, very long time.
 
I've noticed, personally, that the fear machine doesn't come from the government here in the states, as it does the media. Sure, there is quite a bit of purposeful fear inducing stuff that the government dishes out, but it disgusts me to hear the stuff that the media is throwing out each and every day.

Just as an example, a couple years ago, after 9/11, my local news has crap stories insinuating that the next big terrorist attack would be on certain local schools, or certain local small time buisnesses. I mean... give me a break. Quit trying to induce so much fear in us. Its bullshit, and I can smell it many miles away.

The government give out this info in press conferences, the media repeat what they deem to be important.

What? By writing about increasd terrorist warnings that the government actually DIDN'T give as a way to get people who see through these increased terrorist warnings as a method to control the masses thru fear, and therefore these people start hating the government.... (yes that was meant to be confusing and unbelievable).

Hell no, the media nowadays are generally idiots, there's very little quality news sources on the TV, and most newspapers are propaganda, celeb, pop culture BS. The government just keep on with terrorist warning after terrorist warning and these shitty news channels/ newspapers just eat it up and spit it back at us, the masses who take the information given in papers as fact.

Saddam has WMDS? Errr... ok!
Saddam is linked to OBL? Must be true!
Al Quaeda is likely to attack America with its many sleeper cells? Arrrgh! Save us government, I'll let you off the failing state of the country so long as you stop these threats.

hmmmm it's mighty puzzling that those who are so sure of america's good intentions wont watch something that calls into question those same good intentions. I think that out of a sense of patriotism every american should take the time to see both sides of the issues ...in this age of short attention spans what could be easier than watching a movie on an issue instead of spending countless hours doing the research? ..it's not like you have to participate, just watch
 
The video was put together well, I liked how they kept using juxtaposition to get the point accross, like using all those clips from old movies!
 
I watched the entire documentary on BBC, it was very informative and great insight into the ****ed up world we live in

I dont think its so much rumours and speculation anymore, theres proof they have manipulated in the past,, and that provides good ground to see that they most likely are doing it today, to get where they want to get. to keep us in our place, to empower themselves for what short time they have left till we all realise we are being played like violins for the sake of the survival of corporations and power distribution in the world, control of energy supply, control of peoples behaviour to a certain extent its mental momentum in this groove that we call modern life that disempowers us from doing anything about it,, its like a ditch weve created for ourselves, and some people cant find a way out, stuck in it , materialisim, egoic personal gain, too much uncontrollable E-motion... all adds to one thing, imbalance, poverty, an unstable society,

back to the source of it all... a possible pyschological problem that can be addressed:

learning to expand the conciousness, to a higher less self obsorbed level. Those who do, prosper with a happier more balanced life between physical reality and there own inner self, and a more united world, those who dont create suffering and imbalance
 
With what time do you expect me to watch a 58 minute video? Stern acts shocked when somebody doesnt watch an anti-American video, but I wonder if he has watched an anti-F9.11 documentary? Does he read conservative magazines? Nah.
