So yeah, we got this:

October 28 - Fallout 3
November 7 - Gears of War 2
November 11 - Call of Duty: WaW
November 17 - Left 4 Dead

The following months are going to be a mixture of sheer giddyness from all the releases, and also trying to get a hold of all the games and enjoy them all. I'm most certainly going to buy them all, whether or not on release day is still to be decided, seeing as how that's gonna be setting me back some major bills. What are you guys planning to get, and on what platforms?

The only October games that have piqued my interest, and I have the hardware to play, are:

Far Cry 2 (PS3)
Resistance Fall of Man 2 (PS3)

Not really interested in anything else although for me, having two games in a month that I'm interested in could be a first.

Fallout 3 is a maybe, it would have to be AMAZING for me to buy it. Same for Fable 2, it seems incredibly ambitious and almost impossible to pull off right, but then again I said the same about Rock Band...

Mirrors Edge PC release has been pushed back from November apparently to an unspecified date (though probably Dec), however the console releases are still on for Nov 11th. I'd imagine it might be because it would be competing with GTAIV and L4D in an already packed November release schedule and someone at EA wisely thought it might be better for everyone to have a bit of a respite.
