Good God, you don't know the same emo people I do. And maybe I've never met the indie people you're referring to, but I can't believe they're worse.

And Indie wouldn't be bad just based on musical merit.

Well the emo kids in my area are fine so thats just me I guess. Its the indie kids that piss me off over here. Even some of the mainstreamers as well. But metal > all.

Some indie rock is ok. But the indies themselves suck (well at least some of them that i know) Hip hop totally bites though, double true. Anyway metal>all. \m/
 
erm... que es el "indie"? I know about pop, which is either some crappy band with a dude that sounds like a girl as a lead singer, one "pretty" guy who plays acoustic, or some angsty blond chick with some nondescript band in the background and a hidden cache of secret-weapon jigs. Is indie like some sort of sub-category of pop that I'm unclear on? e'splain, please :(
 
Indie is basically like alternative rock, only they stress on their "individualism."
But indie really isnt indie anymore now that there is so many indie bands. They have really weird songs and the singer tends to have a very strange voice.
