That was the gayest Superbowl ever.

I hope no one that watched this was their first superbowl or football game, please. This was rediculously boring. You know that happens sometimes and such so it's just bad/rare. Even if you're a Steelers fan, the game was just lame this time. Playoffs were a lot more intense.

this Superbowl was defnitely lacking something...and yeah i agree that the playoff games leading up to the Superbowl were more exciting and intense.

i think the lack of excitement had something to do with the matchup.. everyone knows Seattle was coming from a weak conference (can you say inflated regular season record?) and easily a team from the same conference as Pittsburgh would make a much more interesting Superbowl match but of course that isn't possible.

I've got a terrible business headache from all of the drinking last night. Immediately after the game everyone poured onto the streets and marched to the middle of my campus. There were thousands of fans celebrating, climbing trees, etc... I'll try to find some pictures to post later. Now I need to go to work.

That game was horseshit. I was rooting for the Seahawks only because nobody else in America was...hell...clearly the NFL wasn't even rooting for the Seahawks.

Not only were the Seahawks completely robbed of 11 points and a shitload of yards in-game...but it was obvious from the NFL promos, commercials, hell even the stands that this was all about the Steelers. They showed like 4 Steelers players fondling that Lombardi trophy and the coach....while they only showed one Seahawk. I didn't see a commercial with a Seahawk in it. I saw shots of Seahawks fans in the crowd like twice.

EVERYBODY knew about the rancid calls made last night and it's too bad there's nothing that can be done about it. The Seahawks should have gone into the 4th tied at 21 (possibly up by 4) with the Steelers and the Steelers aren't so hot at coming from behind or playing tied. They're good at holding a lead. I asked everybody at the party I was at "Who should win MVP" for the Steelers (They couldn't decide because nobody really stood out on the Steelers - even Bettis played a shitty game) and I'd have to say Bill Levy deserved that one...head ref of the game.

Don't believe me about the bad calls? I'm not the only one that thinks they were horrible.
