The Witcher

this game interests me, i wish it would get a 360 release as my PC sucks, how would you say it would run on a x800xt, gig DDR2 ram, 3.2ghz P4? Yeah crap now i know but what would you think? I heard the game is quite buggy and performance is eratic.

Hows the demo to judge?

Crap unless you put it on the lowest setting. I have the exact setup except for the crappy X740xl graphics card. More Ram will help loads as it seems to be more processing and ram intensive.
Is there any info on an expansion or sequel?

The games been a bit of a hit so I expect so, however given Geralt is pretty pimped out at the end ability wise. I'm not sure how they would do it. I'm sure there will be other games though.

Keep an eye on their forums for news.

General Act Two spoilers:

Haha, I ran back and forth the swamp for like 40 minutes to get all the Obelisks when I noticed that the Sepiroth you get from Raymond was missing. I had to reload a very old save, when I found out that you can scroll through the quest items and probably had the final Sepiroth all along.

:(

Haha, DOH! Yeah I'm fairly sure that it is impossible for you to lose quest items, since they're kept separately. The one you get from Raymond you probably didn't have at the time, unless you specifically remember the encounter with him where you get it - I wouldn't exactly call it a forgettable one. So, just FYI for next time... don't load that old save (again)!

I think the encounter differs a bit based on what you do, but he really just mentions having the stone in a passsing by. So yes, I did actually have the stone. I forgot I had saved after I got to the swamp to place the final two ones, and they were both in my inventory :(

One of the best features of the game, nothing worse than getting to the 'crystal caves of jibberjabber' only to find out you inadvertently sold the 'underpants of awesomeness' 4 days and 30 hours before. :dozey:
