Well it didn't fix it for me. All I did was get a new monitor and I started to get this error.

nope this patch made my game worse...
I cant even get past the first loading screen before the main menu unless i minimize and remaximize.
Then, if i play a new game i cant even load the opening sequence without it crashing.
Before the patch i used to be able to get to the first door where u had to stack the boxes to get out the window.

for me it worked. at least a little bit, i can play for like an hour or so before it crasches..

Well I rolled back to the 4.11's, then disabled the cat A.I. because of rainbow textures.
Everything seems to be working well.
