Look, just be yourself and go talk to her. When you feel comfortable, ask her out. One of 2 things will happen.

A) She turns you down. Okay, good. Now you know the answer and can focus on something more worthwhile. Also, do you really give a damn what others will think if she turns you down?

B) She accepts, and you're on your own.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Look, I had this dilemma once. She made me a fine wife. You have nothing to lose but 5 minutes of ego bruising. Go for it man... you'll end up hating yourself for never trying later in life. You have my word on that.

Like I said, I don't have a phd in love as CptStern but I've had many friends that are girls that I was originally attracted to but nothing ever happened as I've waited too long. The best example of this is my current roomate who is a girl. When I met her I was attracted to her but we became friends and now she lives with me strictly as a friend. This actually works out very well for me as she has a lot of good looking friends .

If you want to go out with a girl get to know her and get her to know you, but don't get any 'friendlier' than that.

At least it's an indication that they may be interested. Women don't HAVE this issue. Most women can walk up to a male and say "hi there"... that's it... done deal man.... that guy's doomed. Whereas men are more likely to wake up at age 45 and say "damn.. I shoulda asked old Suzy Whatsherface out in 9th grade". We're all doooooomed!

Yeah, but I did ask her out and dated her.. then she dumped me for some skater guy that abused her some.... so I abused him a lot.... which pleased the local authorities...then we dated again.

Not sure Farrow... I got married, and she went away to some University. Never did hear from her again... but she was a bit too wild for me anyways. That's saying a bit.. she was really, REALLY wild. Let's say she made her way onto some tapes last I heard about her. Yeah.

My high school life was rather interesting to say the least. hehe.

Guess so, I've been turned down by guys before (And girls) but I dont really think anything of it, sure if they started throwing rocks at me then It would be hard to walk away, maybe limp away would be better.
