Dude... we're like a family here. If you don't understand it, that's fine... but some of us have been here for a long time, and though we may quarrel(like any family), we're still friends and pretty close. As close as you can be on the internet.

Why do you say goodbye to your friends when you move away from a city? You may be in that city in the future... but the point is, you say goodbye because you're leaving, and you'll miss em... and won't know when you'll see em again, if ever. Internet friendships are as tangible as RL friendships.
