Obama was raised by "a muslim, eventually an atheist"! :O

"this is huge"

/me represses urge to say "so's your momma!"

will have to watch fox"news" muslim scare video later

Holy shit, connections to muslims and atheists? His middle name is Hussein? He did drugs in high school? SOMEBODY ALERT THE PRESS IMMEDIATELY.

I like how they point out how people like to form opinions on Obama without knowing much about him, as if they're above all that, but then subsequently rely on vagueness in their criticism.

And maybe, just maybe, this kind of ice witch bitchiness is the reason the Clinton camp isn't getting big hugs and a warm reception.

they say that is a bad thing for obama to be raised as muslim?

I cant understand very well

Remember, it's not just that he had a muslim element to his childhood.

His middle name is also Hussein.

HUSSEIN.

COME ON, PEOPLE.

DO YOU SEE THE CONNECTION I'M GETTING AT HERE?

HUSSEIN.

in my school there was someone of syrian decendence that hav husseim as midle name too

You guys know what's sad? We're laughing because this is all ridiculous, but the majority of the American people are going to hear this and say, "He was raised a MUSLIM?! I'm not voting for him now!"

Not that I myself would necessarily be voting for him, but it's terribly sad that something like this COULD hurt his chances of winning. In all likelihood it might cost him the presidency.

You won't see an Atheist using the excuse "God told me to do it" at least. I like Obama, he seems a lot more genuine than Hilary Clinton. I hope he pips her to the post. If I was American I’d vote for him, but I'm not so we've got to rely on a voting American public that put George Bush back in office for the second term to do the right thing...Yeah, forgive me If I don’t trust their judgment.

Holy crap, he once had a non-christian thought! This is obviously sufficient evidence to burn him at the stake.

Oh and I just loved the part where the guys says something like, "He was for some....stuff....that people might not like very much." That right there is some really excellent non-biased news reporting. Watch out people! Obama once voted on "Stuff" and "Things" *insert scary music*.

Oh, I am currently leaning more toward Clinton at the moment, but I got nothing against Obama.

I can't believe they don't advertise Fox News as "THE STUFF WE WANT YOU TO HEAR"

I agree with Darkside...consider who's seriously watching Fox News.

"fair and balanced"

OMFG THERE IS A TERRORIST IN THE WHITE HOUSE!

thats the reactions isnt?

Yes, sadly it wouldn't surprise me at all if some people in the US equate "muslim" with "terrorist."

We may as well equate christianity with the crusades too.

George Bush is a born-again christian, right? He managed to get elected twice.

If he abandoned his faith because of politics than i suggest you don't vote for him, since he can't be trusted. But otherwise....OBAMA SIN LADEN :cheese:

I for one don't like people that abandon faith because of life goals. Because such people are first trusted, and then betray. Better would be if such a man never believed in the first place.

What? So if somebody's beliefs change - Protip: BELIEFS CHANGE CONSTANTLY - they are a worse person because of it? That makes no sense.

People abandon faith because they find it retarded and/or unnecessary. It has nothing to do with betrayal. Pull your head out of your ass.

The average person lives for many, many years. The changing of beliefs and opinions is a natural consequence of life experience.

It would be better. Unfortunately our society is burdened with the indoctrination of religious beliefs from an early age.

So you should be praising atheists, for we will raise children who will never believe in the first place, and thus will never "betray" their faith.

Do you assume athiests had faith in the first place?

Well, many atheists did at some point. Or at least thought they did. I'm not sure if I ever really believed in a god, since a lot of the time it just felt like I was going through the motions.

I was a full-fledged Christian for about four months back in 2001. Then I realized, holy shit, none of this makes sense. And another Atheist was born.
