There has been many topics on subjects such as 9/11 and other things and I'n not sure if anyone has posted this before. Sorry if they have.

Ok, first of all. Have you ever seen footage of a plane hitting the pentigon on 9/11. Isn't it a bit weird how there is no footage... Also, I never really thought about it before. But where did the plane actually go? I mean seriously. Look at shots from the disaster, where the hell did it go? This plane weighs 720 tones with 5900 gallons of fuel. If you compare both the pentigon and twin towers crashes its like.... what the ****?

Imo, I know this sounds wack, but what if Bin Largin actually got hold of a cruise missle? Bush would obviasly want to cover this up? Imagen how bad it would look.

If I had to voice my opinion on republican party I would happily kill them all. I'm been serious. They are inhumain, its impossible to even comprehend why the hell they would do such things (not just this). It seriously agrivates me how such people like this can be in power. I live in the UK and I can't say I would ever want to live in america, but its not just that. Its the fact that what america do influences the whole world.

There have been storys about Bush claiming Iran are developing nuclear weapons. If you have an idea of whats going on in the world at the moment I don't think you really need me to say it. Give it 2/3 years and I can see american declaring war on another country. I'm not sure if anyone feels the same way, but humanity has been living to easy for too long, the whole world is about to go tits up. Its also down to are own human race.

There is already another topic on this. On Iran- they admitted to developing nuclear weapons, I dont see how the US is forcing them to admit such things.

the film looks believable, but its mostly in the implications it makes, and not the evidence it presents. it definitely raises the question (and with good music)

You know wat Im sick of? People saying that america sucks. America (The US actually. America includes south america too ;) ) totally rocks. I agree that we are doing retarded things. ll have to disagree with you beeop, i agree that south america is fine, i know plenty of nice south americans. however it is more then just one man responsible for the... United states that exists today. sadly i've met some Americans, and well... lets just say i did not enjoy the meeting. when i spoke with them i could almost feel the disdain dripping from their words, they had no respect for me or my entourage. in one word.... 'arrogant'

i foudn the flash to be well executed and very suggestive, but thats just it... suggestions of a cover-up, just like every other cover-up story i've seen. very little proof was offered so really, one cannot make up one's mind just yet.
 
You know the thing that really shocks me about 9/11 is that apperently nobody stood back and tried to find the motive for it. Bin Laden attacked the US because he was disgusted with the lifestyle that US people lead. And you know what, I have to agree with him. Everyday I look around me and I see corrupt businesses, cheating lovers, and thieves and murderers. I'm not saying everyone in the US is like this, not at all, but it is almost impossible to avoid seeing it in some way.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning what Bin Laden did. On the contrary I think he's scum. He somehow decided the best way to express his anger would be to kill as many US citizens as possible. And how did the US respond? With more violence! It didn't get him anywhere and it isn't getting us anywhere.

I know this turned out to be a bit of a rant and I'm not really proposing any solutions here but I felt the need to express my opinion. By the way, I love puppies.
 
JFry I completely agree - but you should also understand that the bin laden family and the western leaders (the corrupt ones) had lots of money invested in companies that stood to gain a LOT of money from a catastrophe such as what happened on 9/11. Bush also needed that as a reason for a war - not with afghanistan (not a lot of oil there) but with Iraq (lots of oil) so... after 9/11 he declared a 'war on terrorisim' because we all know that all arabs are terrorists (this was sarcasm) - paving Bushes way for an invasion of Iraq ... = cheap oil.

So as I was saying in another thread, the whole basis for this crap is money. Lots of money... at the cost of loss of almost innocent life - but hey, nobody cares about a few thousand strangers these days, right?

Alright, I do agree that studying the motivation of terrorist is a good thing for multiple reasons. Among those is it is smart to understand your enemy and where he is coming from. And second it is good to examine where the problem lies to see if there are any legitimate greaviences. Even though they use despiclable means it is possible that terrorist have a legitimate reason for their acts of violence. Not saying that such a reason would justify what they do in any way or form, but if the problem could be addressed and stop further bloodshed then it would be a worthy cause. So about examining terrorists' motivations I agree with you.

However I would suggest you might want to read this:

It's far more than a matter of just not liking our lifestyles.

Take a look at the targets they attacked. The World Trade Center and the Pentagon are very symbolic. The one represents the economic power of the US and the other represents the military power of the US as well. Al Qaeda has problems with its economics system and its government policies. I think the motive was quite obvious.

you can spew out all of the conspiracy theories that you want, but it doesn't change the fact that saddam was inhumane. he did kill millions of his own people (or do you think that's a conspiracy too?). if you're so into killing inhumane people then why aren't you screaming that saddam be put to death? it makes no sense.
 
I think I was trying to pull together too many ideas with that last post and ended up wording it poorly (hence the last paragraph).
I didn't mean to say it was Bin Laden's only reason... far from it. His attacks were obviously very well planned for specific purposes. However I think his jihad was the main reason.
 
its not just "English" people who have a problem with america, its pretty much a world-wide consensus that America isn't anyones "favourite" country. (please name me a country that loves america, aside from america)

i'm going to agree with Jfry here too. he gets his points across better then me so i'm not even going to try.
 
Bin Laden hit the TC with two planes for two towers. I'm not sure about the rest of it, but I'm sure about this.

What kind of response is that? Any supposed links between al-Qaeda and Iraq were purely fictional. Iraq: Secular state, al-Qaeda: Fundamentalist Islamic group. They hate each other.

You're absolutely right that Saddam was a tyrant and that, for the moment, Iraq is better off without him. However the problem is that Bush and Blair sent large numbers of troops and military equipment to Iraq on false pretenses; namely terrorist links, WMDs, etc. Then the collateral (sp?) damage was awful and now, months after Saddam's capture and the supposed end of the war, the fighting is just as bad.

Also there is the huge problem of rebuilding a country so crippled by decades of tyranny, sanctions and military bombardment. How can you offer people democratic elections when they have never known them? It's very difficult to change that - they don't know who any of the candidates are, what they stand for or whether they'll be better or worse than Saddam. In situations like this, elections are often fixed, puppet leaders get put in power or the new leader decides they rather like power and that they'd quite like to stay there. Easy to end up back at square one.

A cruise missile flying from the middle-east to America would be detected by just about every intelligence organization on the planet. Not to mention civilians.

How were they supposed to get footage if they didnt know it was comin? I think it would be more wierd if they got footage of it than if they didnt.

Well first of all, The Pentagon's walls are reinforced and built differently than the Twin Towers. I believe the Pentagon was built to withstand a nuclear blast.. and if it can do that Im sure it can withstand a plane crash. Now, Most of the Pentagon isn't actually in the "Pentagon" itself but alot is underground from what ive heard.. so i seriously think itll take much more than a plane to destroy a structure such as the Pentagon.

Why would we cover up him having cruise missiles? I think its highly unlikely and i doubt they have a conventional cruise missile that can go from the caves of Afghanistan all the way to NYC and Washington D.C.. hell i dont think we even have a conventional missile with that kind of range.

Nations such as Iran, Iraq, Syria and North Korea are or were trying to acquire these weapons.. (wow that sounds alot like most of the Axis of Evil President was talking about.. hmm) Bush wouldnt make this stuff up to make it up.. He has people that give him Intel on what the hell our enemies are up to.. Old or New intel, the president has a right to act on it in the best way he feels necessary.

Dude, i dont think you have any idea about the world going "Tits up." There was a time in history when the world was minutes from being obliterated by the exchange of nuclear weapons (several times in fact) and youre going to complain that just because we round up a few world assholes and act in our and our allies national security interests that you think the world is going to turn flat. You just need to relax man. The worst thing that will happen is Iran gets a new government and the terrorists will either die or scatter into dark tunnels like the cockroaches they are. But what good would it do if we just let them do whatever the hell they want? You act like were hijacking the world or somethin.
