It's caused by the number of menu options up there. They take up some 630 pixels in width, and the element on each side is another 185px wide. This leads to the menu's table being wider than the forum table for most people, so the rightmost element in the menu's table sticks out.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention all. The forum layout has now been fixed so it works perfectly in 1024x768 upwards. If there are any other problems let me know so I can resolve them.

If it's just this thread it is because a large image posted is expanding the forum tables causing the problem.
