What's everyone's thoughts on the latest episodes?

I thought that both of them were better than last week's. Family Guy seemed more "classic" this time around, with better jokes and a bit more stupid/nonsensical Family Guy humor. And American Dad was tons better than last week's episode:
Francine: Aww, Jeff, you're so sweet!
Stan: Yeah, next time I run out of Jolly Ranchers, I can just suck on Jeff!
I laughed for a good two minutes after that :D

I liked both episodes pretty equally. And yes, American Dad is definetly getting better.

I thought the opposite. I liked the first episode of each better.

I didn't like how Family Guy re-used the greased-up deaf guy on back-to-back episodes like that (even though he was a lawyer). I also didn't like how they keep using the whole "prolonging the moment" joke with Peter saying, "Woah, woah, woah" and him raising his hand (although his reaction when he didn't get picked was awesome. The Ted Danson bit didn't really work and the bear bit at the end felt re-used from before.

That being said, I still liked it, just not as much.

I also liked the first Family Guy better than this one.

"How's the oatmeal dear?"
"It tastes a little different...OH MY GOD THERE'S A BEAR IN MY OATMEAL"

ahahaha I laughed for so long seeing that

Last week I liked Family Guy better than American Dad, but this week it was the opposite. Mostly for the reasons that AmishSlayer stated, and that I felt that American Dad had more zingers to it. Weird huh?

That prolonged stuff kinda got on my nerves. It was done once, it wont have the same effect twice on fans of the series, and it wont on new viewers, since they weren't long enough.

The only good one for that is the willy wonka spoof one.

I thought the Gumble to Gumble one was funnier. When he was interogating the theif and kept saying, "Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh..." and the theif was like, "What the hell are you doing?"

not on terrestrial but i hear bbc might've picked it up

about ****ing time

I definitely think that the first Family Guy episode was better. This one had some good jokes, but the overall cohesiveness and plot wasn't there. I agree that they're just trying too hard.

And American Dad is a disgrace to Seth McFarlane.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Heh.

LOL the bit "woah woah woah woah woah.....lois this isn;t my batman glass"

liked this family guy more but i still think that they are a little rusty - i have all the seasons (1-3) on DVD and can watch them over and over again but these two (which i ended up taping) i actually havent gone back to because they weren't up to the standard.

either that or i built them up far too much when i heard there was goin to be a fourth season...and that was a LONG time ago!

By about 30 seconds yea. The episode as a whole was weak, but I liked the god joke at the end.

God: "Magic fingers"

*Woman explodes setting fire to the bar*

God: "JESUS CHRIST!"
Jesus: "What?"
God: "Get the Escalade! We're outta here!"
