I read halfway through the thread and got disguested. Seriously. Someone is being a jerk in a car, let him. Don't react, just let him; there are NUMEROUS very legitimate reasons for him being in a hurry, and, instead of being one of 'Those' people you can let him past!

Also, what the heck is with all the stereotypes flying around? Its worse then racism!

I am going to tell you a little rule I made up. I call it the 99% rule.

What happens when you put a drop of red food coloring into a glass of clear water? The glass of water turns red. How much of it is the food coloring? less then 1 percent. That means 99% of the people out there are good people, and you only notice the a-holes, or when the good people are acting like a-holes.

Also, a lot of the people who are posting in this thread are one of 'Those' people. Stop, look at yourself, and fix your scewed world views.

That's nice, you have a view of people as being nice, generous, and lending a helping hand everywhere, when in reality, they would rather shit on you than pick you up off the road. Some of us haven't had the luxury of finding people who actually give a shit about other people. We've been tainted with the bullshit that gets thrown from other people, and thus, our opinions.

Every single American I've met, except for ONE is a complete fat smelly asshole. I don't know about you people who are Americans, but most of them are ****ing annoying. As Shasta said, the world does most certainly NOT revolve around them.

It's like there's something put into the water to ensure you are all wankers. I'm sure it's not your fault.

As a american, i agree, ive been living here for about 7 years now, and i just cant stand most americans
 
You guys are all morons, except baal and puzzlemaker. You all think the world is so ****ed when it really isnt. You all form bad opinions of people based upon nothing. You meet a couple bad people and, for some ****ed up reason in your head it means everyone else even remotely related is a "fat smelly asshole". Anywhere I have lived in the US I have met far far more good people than bad. Hardly anybody thinks that the "world revolves around them". I have known people who almost died because of them helping someone. If there is a car accident, there is always people stopping their lives to help the people involved. Just today I saw somebody helping a homeless person by buying them something to eat. My friend gives beggars some money. A lot of people I know, including myself donate regularly to charities. If a fight is happening then people will try to break it up before anyone gets hurt. At our school my friends and I will help out other classmates with their work so that they can get it done in time and understand it. People are not ****ing self absorbed here. No more so than in any of your countries.

I really am getting sick of this anti-american bullshit i see on this site. Learn to hate what is wrong with a country and not the innocent people in it.

Seriously **** you guys, **** you all. Im going to ****ing leave this forum. I cant stand some of you anymore.

Yes, and because your ignorant mind can only see the assholes, you automatically believe there are a lot of them. Try expanding your views by talking to other people. People who you dont notice very often, the quiet ones, the ones who dont make themselves the center of attention by doing something retarded or dickheaded. You guys need to realize that there are other people out there, people who you dont notice. Think of it this way. Do you ever remember the car that was in front of you, who put on his blinker and made a turn at the appropriate speed? No you dont, because you only remember the one who cut you off 5 feet in front of you to make the turn at 30 miles an hour.

You guys are making huge ****ing inaccurate generalizations based on the actions of a few people. I can tell you this over and over again, but I will probably die before you listen. You are all ignorant, and you will never change. You guys are "those people" I hate, and I now finally see that this forum is ****ing infested with you. Ive had it, and im leaving. It was just a joke, you fail. A play on the meaning of "those people", and Americans troubled history and attitudes towards blacks. We all know you didn't say anything about black people, so the joke should have been obvious really. Try removing your head from your ass.

Actually, you blamed everyone ELSE for hating Americans - like it is OUR attitude that is the problem, instead of accepting that is a GLOBAL opinion. All you can try to do is convince us that YOU are different from the common yank, although so far you are not doing well in that department...

What the hell man, he's not the one making negative sweeping generalizations based on what country people are born in. I can't believe you just tried to turn him into the guilty one here, you seriously need to take a look at your own ****ing posts and try to just rationally (although it's beyond that point now...) analyze the situation.

You: Claim American's are all ignorant self-obsessed assholes (etc etc.) based on your limited experience in dealing with tourists / population. Cite personal experience as your main proof to back up your ridiculous claim.

Krynn: Rebuttal based on the fact that it's completely inane to claim all Americans are [above]. He admits that tourists / population can be jerks, it's not fair to base any entire countries population based on a select few bad-apples, especially since the good people tend to go unnoticed.

Im not blaming your for hating americans. Im saying you shouldnt. You shouldnt hate individual people for things that a few people from their group did. Its the same ****ing thing as hating black people because one of them took your car stereo. The same damned thing.

Actually, Bush should have never been elected President in the first goddamn place. In 2000, Al Gore had more votes than Bush. About a half million more. But the ****ed up electoral vote system, which has been ****ed up since it was established by some ****ing dumbass that thought popular vote was bad, ****ed Gore over.

Don't get riled up over Shasta either. He has always been a dumbshit who speaks in generalities and always tries to turn the blame on you or the target at hand.

In fact I have. Part of the reason why I am so annoyed by the instant hate of Americans. You get treated like shit outside the country, and for no reason other than you came from a certain part of a certain continent.

actually I ment the stereo type that korean immigrants that live in the US can't drive.


I for one have almost got killed by cars w/ Koreans driving a few times,if I wasn't driving so defensive as I do then Im sure I would have been in a few accidents already with "my" car or my bike.

if you live in shit, you don't notice the smell all around you, right? Well over here in the fresh air, when an American comes to visit, you DO notice the stink. You can LITERALLY see an American coming a mile away. And hear them, too. They are loud, and expect the world to stop for them. There are assholes in every country and while some might speak different languages, they're no better than each other. Just because you've had bad dealing with a minute portion of [country X] citizens doesn't automatically mean it will translate to all of it's citizens. I'm sure your country has it's fair share of 'stink' that travel abroad, is it fair that I assume your entire populace stinks because of these select few?

Being loud and obnoxious is not a requirement to succeed in the US, I have no idea where the hell you got that rationale from.

Assuming all American's suffer from "Small Man's Syndrome" isn't a reason, it's another one of your unjustified sweeping generalizations.
