Earlier today I was stuck in class next to three girls discussing who was the cutest actor in the world :x

I really wish those dumbf*cks had kept their conversation private. My spleen still bleeds sometimes :frown:
 
lol, I hate being stuck next to loudasses in class, reminds me of my lab discussion I just had, there's no room so ppl have to sit on the floor. Thankfully the prof. know about this and tells everyone to stfu every once in a while.
 
Had an experience with 'those people' today at school. Some annoying dumb cheerleader girl was bragging about how drunk she gets every weekend. And she talks so loud I can hear her conversation clearly while sitting on the other side of the room.

So your argument here is that "there are assholes in every country" and I am "basing my opinion on a small percentage of Americans". Of course every country has assholes. I never said they didn't. America just doesn't really have anyone OTHER than assholes. I have met hundreds of yanks. I was in the tourism / hospitality industry for 7 years. Now I deal with Americans on a weekly basis these days. 99% of them being blow-ass dickheads isn't a small percentage to me. Most of the world having the same general bad opinion of Americans is NOT some freaky coincidence. But of course you can't see the forest for the trees.

Get a clue? I'm not the one here pulling things out of my ass by suggesting 99% of Americans are dickheads just because I've dealt with some tourists. No, I've only spent 7 years of my life living within the United States and never encountered any disproportionate amount of assholes. In fact, my experience is the exact opposite, I've known and befriended far more friendly people than I have met assholes. Does this mean all Americans are nice? Obviously not, and this is the same logic you're trying to apply but it's obviously flawed.

Most of the world criticizes the US for their Administration policies, not because their average citizens are assholes.

I did give you points, it's just that you conveniently avoided them.

2. If you can link me to a reliable data that claims it's a requirement to be loud and obnoxious to succeed in the US, then I will gladly admit wrong. As is, I think everyone will agree that it's inane to assume this.

Let me give you a hint on 2 and 3, think logically (I know it's hard for you but...) for a second and do you honestly believe all ~300 million Americans are loud obnoxious assholes that suffer from Small Man's Syndrome? And no, pulling things out of your ass won't count as reliable data.

Ok, let's play the numbers game then...

1)Every country has assholes. As I said earlier (again, why do I have to keep repeating myself to you?) America has an EXTREMELY dis-proportionate wanker to nice person ratio. It's far easier to find an obnoxious yank, than it is to find a similar NZ'er. Go ask around if anyone has come across an obnoxious NZ'er, or any bad experience with someone from NZ. You might get a story or two. Now if I ask the same question about Americans over here, I could start a weekly magazine franchise with the stories I'd get.

2)Easy. Just check out your own news / E! channels. Filled with self opinionated tossers that think the world revolves around them. Even the bloody Queen of England keeps a lower profile than some dickhead walking down the street in New York.

Yes. Yes I do. Even the quiet ones puff out their chest when they visit other countries, and demand things crying "do you know who I am? I'm an AMERICAN!". I know it's hard for you to accept - it's like being told your sister is a slut, or your Mum makes porn.
