What's the best place to buy shoes online (large selection / best prices)?

Or where do you shop?

The best place to buy shoes are the shoe bots that come here peddling shoes.

It's always shoes.

ALWAYS ****ING SHOES.

ALWAYS ****ING SHOES!

I wish I could wear shoes. O, how I envy those that know how to tie their shoelaces.

I usually wear low cut boots with jeans, and I found a couple that look pretty cool, but then I came across some sneakers I like.

Not that I haven't done it before, but I think it's kind of dumb to wear sneakers with jeans. It's like casual athletic = extreme casual. Eh. A lot of people do it, what do you think?

Here in the netherlands we dont get classes in tying shoelaces... :(
: D ive got 9 pairs of shoes, it makes me feel so feminine *goes to toilet*

I just got a pair of these yesterday, I know, they are actually Boots, not shoes. I love boots-

buckles, no. no. no.
i dislike them, very much.
remove the buckles from those boots!
i demand it!

You know I came into this thread looking for actual discussion on retailers because I've been wanting to replace my old man loafers for awhile now, but really, did I really expect that?

Also, ZT's boots are awesome.

Give me [strike]your clothes,[/strike] your boots and the keys to your [strike]motorcycle[/strike] heart.

I can never find good shoes, so I find shoe shopping tedious and that's why I dislike shoes.

I go to Wal-Mart and not spend $200 on shoes because I don't give a **** they are rubbing all over shit and touching the ground and will get ****ed up within a month anyway (unless your lazy so you don't go out often AND you clean your shoes often, but those two things are contradicting so no one is those things.)

The Faded Glory boots at Wal-Mart cost about $22 and the seams will fall apart within a year. On the other hand, you can buy a pair of Timberland or Red Wings or something and they will last for the rest of your life and still look great; no exaggeration. You can get timberland for as low as $44. So it's actually Wal-Mart that is ripping you off.

In the last 5 to 6 years of High School, Sixth Form and art college, I have used three pairs of shoes, roughly a pair for every two years. All three of these pairs have been from TK Maxx for about £15-20 or so and I love them to hell. They're dogged, beaten, crooked, holey and stinky but **** man, I got mad love for the haggard. Stick your expensive 'pre-worn/beat' Topman and Republic toff shoes up yer arse, my pair of no-namers will kick the shit outta them in the long run.

My Sixth Form pair had this cool hole going right from the front to the back so my feet were really well ventilated. They would flip and flop open when I walked so they were almost talking, man. I can't find them now, though. I think my parents might of stole them and binned 'em.

Doc Martens up your ass. Steel toes trounce faggity buckles anyday.

I really don't shop for shoes, but it depends if your a boy or girl.

If your a boy, they got some pretty good stuff at Dick's sporting goods, men's warehouse, and that other place...I forgot the name it's like "Sports <something>". :|

Yea I beat the shit out of my shoes and they've lasted for a year now. I may get new ones in a month or two, but I don't even need new ones tbh.

My brand-x boots got a blowout. ... what Antipop described as "talking shoes"

So, I'm getting good ones this time. I still have a pair of Timberlands from 1990. God damn combat boots.

Boots are good but none of these silly Noel Fielding pointytoes or western Clints :p A good pair of German para boots do me well for any outdoor hikes and camping, and when I've the time and money, paintball. Good trusty thick pair, absoloutly caked in mud and allsorts else gunk but man, they see you through all sorts of shitstorms.

Authentic from WWII too, which actually is a bit worrying as someone might of died in them. :|

Boots are great, but not socially acceptable for men to wear unless you're in the army or a SWAT officer or on some boot specific action adventure like boot scooting.

I suspect boots and capes will be socially acceptable in the coming years. I've been waiting to wear a cape my entire life but society isn't quite ready for it yet.

Girls wearing boots is utterly hot beyond understanding. Utterly, unstoppably hot. Better than them wearing high-heels.

Since when are boots not sociably acceptable for men? Boots are possibly the manliest kind of footwear, besides barefoot in a snowstorm.

step 1:
go to italy
step 2:
find a designer store(not super big name designer like prada, just like a local one or somewhat big, mainly so you dont spend 700 euro on a pair of shoes!)
step 3:
buy sexy shoes that are super good quality and look hella nice

I was recently in italy, and i came back with the most awesome shoes ever! they are armani, but they look so sick... and they say my name on them!!
they were about 80 (on sale:D)euro, which is about the price that a shoe of comparable material and quality would be here... actually probably cheaper.

Eh, in my experiences, most shoes around the $20-30 range are complete shit and fall apart within a few months. However, this pair of Vans I bought three years ago looks relativity new.

****ING lol'd

I'm probably going to get a pair of sneakers and a pair of LOW CUT boots. i think I may have said that already. These low cut boots stop at the ankle. My jeans will cover the top of them as well.

Boots can be dressy, casual or utility (like combat or swat boots) depending on the style. I was going for something casual. I don't want to look like I'm hiking, they are just durable shoes made from leather basically.
like for example, THESE ARE MID-CUT, which are taller than what I'm looking for, and this isn't exactly the style I want, but well, this will give you an idea:

EDIT: here are some low-cut round toe boots:

Boots are gay and anyone who wears them is gay. Unless you're in some manual labor line of work, but even then on your off time you must not wear boots or you're gay.

Sneakers are where its at. Comfy as fuuuuck. I usually buy from Sears because they tend to have a good selection of New Balance shoes, which are usually the most comfortable brand for me.

As a matter of fact, I'm gonna polish my shoes now. How often do the rest of you do this? Every two weeks is the average for me.

Good lord.
