they seriously rock. they warm things up,make them varying degrees of crispy, and they don't suck the very essence out of food like microwaves do. they make bread a higher form of bread, they made my crossaint crispy on the outside and warm and crossaint-y on the inside.

toasters are a brilliant, brilliant invention.

and toasted items with tea or coffee is just heavenly.

Sheepy, I'd like to thank you for raising this matter. Toasters are, indeed, one of the most fabulous inventions since toast itself. Toast is a much-maligned foodstuff, often providing a meal unto itself. I myself have just consumed three pieces of toast and am all the better for it, not only in terms of nutrition, but as a person in general. Thank you toast - I owe a lot to you.

Another much-maligned foodstuff is cereal. Cereal, I think, also deserves a large salute here as we recognise its genius. Huzzah for cereal, whatever time of day it may be. Huzzah indeed.

How can you be too impatient for a Microwave? Short of literally setting off a nuclear bomb inside a small box, you can't get much quicker.

Besides, if you use your time wisely, the microwave only has to take up a few seconds. Put the food in, turn it on. Do something else. Come back, take food out...Eat \/
