I agree. But I think that is the point the Kore guy was trying to make and everyone was jumping all over him for. White christians do protray Jesus as a white male because that is the pinnicle of humanity for them subconsciously. The only time you will see a dark skinned Jesus is if you go into a black church. Their Jesus is black and it kind of makes him look like Shaft. Can you dig it?

but I think it has more to do with race bias than anything else ...btw jesus was closer to black than white ..look at middle eastern men ..dont look at jews because at the time jews were pretty much in one spot ..modern day jews come from all over the world ..hey if Sammy Davis Jr can be a jew so can anyone

I agree. Jesus would have had very dark olive skin at the time. Modern Jews are substantially lighter skinned. I like Shaft Jesus. I also just like saying "Shaft" and "Jesus" in the same phrase.

I agree ...too bad most of christianity dont follow jesus' teachings ...I've always mantained that rastafarianism (which is christianity in it's more purer form) is closer to the teachings of jesus than any other christian sect

That depends on what you consider Jesus teaching. The bible is pretty violent and horrible at times. If you consider it in the light of parables written by men, you are probably fine. It is the people who take it as verbatim from God that scare me.

Actually, isn't the Torah the book of Jewish law? I believe that Judaism follows "the Bible", too...but it's just the old testament.
