But "Secret Agent Man" was sung by a country music singer from Baton Rouge...oh...cover...silly me.

Keane- A band with a Pianist, Vocalist and Drummer, and thats it. Very good love songs. Songs- Somewhere only we know. Bedshaped.
Or... Intensely dull old-school indie with a four-year old as a front "man." Sorry, I'm drunk and feeling uncharitable. They're still duller than sh*t though. Really really boring sh*t, at that.

The Cooper Temple Clause
The Music

Odd/lazy band names, but still these people are the proper minds behind a new rock revolution coming out of our Queendom/Kingdom/whoever-dies-first-dom. Rather than re-inventing what came before (THe Libertines, Razorlight, Franz Ferdinand - they're all fun, but hardly the most ingenuitive bands on the planet), these two specific bands are taking dance influences and fusing them with rock music to fantastic effect - albeit in very different ways. I admire their inventiveness, so bravo to both bands.
Jeff Buckley
The man against whom I set myself. My vocal and musical idol very probably for ever more. And the one man I would have no problems having sex with. Although he's dead, but that just adds to the challenge.
Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Otis Redding, James Brown, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck the list goes on and on. I find it so hard to pin down singular artists/bands in questions like this.
