I played the demo for Tribes: Vengeance back when it first came out, didn't really hook me (that is, I didn't like it as much as Tribes or T2). Still, can't go wrong with free... dling.

Yeah, I played the MP beta and thought it was alright, simplified version of Tribes.
But, it was still fun as all hell... maybe we can play together later?

Downloading now, I remember being so pumped about Tribes Vengeance. I liked it, it just didn't take off and they dropped support for it like a month after release.

Loved an earlier Tribes game. Usually got my ass handed to me online, but found a small group to play with for a short time back in the day. I enjoyed it. Not so sure I'd enjoy anymore though, as I simply don't have that kind of time.

I'm about to cancel it, I started installing it like 15 minutes ago and it's just getting to 6% now.

edit: Nvm, It was extracting like 200 maps... just sped up like crazy and finished right now.

Hardly any CTF servers and CTF is basically a Tribes must, ffs.

Hell, there's hardly any servers at all and what little there are all laggy as shit, uninstalled... I'd like a mod to banish this thread to the depths of hell, please.

This. I was a huge fan of one and two and was disappointed by the multiplayer but the single player made it a worthy purchase.

It's basically the full version of T:V, minus the singleplayer...but APPARENTLY you can download that too.
The enhancements it spoke about are things that you have to manually install yourself.

Also, I question the legality of this now since the developer of the game is still alive and kicking and this isn't officially endorsed by them at all.
It's not a fan-made game either, it's literally just T:V packaged with mods and without any singleplayer.

I can't save. whenever I try to save I get a message saying:
"An error occurred while saving the game. ensure that the drive is not full."

There is 750gb free space left on the drive.

Anyway anyone know the solution to this? Or maybe still has his or her save games, and would give them to me.
