What is the point in hoarding as many friends as you can for no real reason? I don't understand why people get into this sort of thing.

I have a Facebook page but will not get Twitter. It seems pointless/annoying/overboard.

I didn't even really want Facebook when I got on 4 years ago. There was a point where I did "status updates" quite frequently but now I only do occasional status updates (maybe once every 1-2 weeks) and "post" youtube videos to save for myself rather than bookmarking them and cluttering up my already-cluttered bookmarks folder.

I have no delusions that anyone other than my cousin, sister, and maybe a couple of friends pays any attention to it.
