the irony here is that if Atomic Piggy were in North Korea he wouldnt have been able to make that post:
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/23/t...fb36d2f8248b7a&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss
because North korea is the most censored country in the world ..they banned cell phones outright in 2006 and all news media is run by the government:
in other words North koreans do indeed have the best of everything the world has to provide and they owe it all to a glorious Leader or that the exact opposite is true: north koreans suffer while some gimp in a military outfit and Beehive hairdo plays at being a dictator/demi god
best country in the world indeed ..if your name is Kim Long Dong Jung Il
Juhana if you truely believe what you say despite being confronted with contradictory evidence you're either the stupidest person that's ever graced these forums or Kim Jung himself because no one but Kim could ever believe NK is "great" in any sense of the word
Lies written by the lapdog corporate media. Lets face it, DPRK is the greatest place on earth. The very least you should do is support it and other (though slightly less) progressive countries (Cuba, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam etc).
And remus:
You have a completely wrong idea what communism means. Let me explain it to you:
- Few terms first: Proletarian means working class, bourgeoisie means the owners of the means of production.
- The workers revolt against capitalists. In real-world examples the revolt has been organised by a vanguard party.
- The dictatorship of the proletariat aka socialism. The workers form a government, which however excludes the former capitalists and keeps them under surveillance. The means of production are collectively owned. This transition phase exists to prevent counter-revolution and make people used to the new economic system. The democracy is handled through workers councils (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_democracy). Usually communists think that this phase should be supervised by a vanguard party, which has unfortunately lead to the formation of dictatorships in real world examples. Cuba is a SOCIALIST COUNTRY. USSR was a SOCIALIST COUNTRY. Mao's China was a SOCIALIST COUNTRY. No, let me correct that, they were deformed socialist countries - government system often known as state capitalism (I know it is a stupid name), meaning that the vanguardians only care about their power and the population is kept in check by promising them a better future (namely communism). Those three forementioned countries certainly fit the label: they are embarassments, not any worthy examples to follow. The socialist phase means "workers subjucate the former capitalists", NOT "vanguard party subjucates workers and former capitalists, though the latter will be more oppressed"! I think such a party should exist, but the real power should be in the hands of the councils.
- The revolution spreads around the world. The former bourgeoisie is merging with the proletarians (The class antagonisms are subsiding), and finally they too have the right to take part in politics. If a vanguard party exists (hopefully it has less power than in the real world examples), it will become useless and therefore will be abolished.
- The entire world is under the workers rule. The class antagonisms have ceased and because the government is no longer an institution of class "violence", it ceases to be a state (the state refers to an institution which is used by one class to subjucate another). The end result:
Communism: stateless and classless society, with democracy and collective ownership of the means of production.
