Yeah but that's because they are special, and that way Blizzard knows they attended Blizzcon since they're the only ones applying for the beta with a beta key.
 
Plus no ones stopping you from selling your bnet account.

Although I'm getting my ass kicked repeatedly, I'm extremely impressed at how much they improved on just about every aspect the community had qualms with. The graphics engine seems incredibly flexible and gorgeous, too.
 
how is this even possible? of all the hundreds of thousands of possible choices, for like 1500 picks, at least 2 of them are from hl2.net?

I am guessing it is more than that. I know of at least three other people on a Dutch forum that have keys.
 
When you can't get the real thing...watch it on the net.

I like the sound of the Protoss, menu, and battle.net music the most. Terran doesn't sound as good as the first game. Still okay I guess. Feels too much like cowboy music.

I really liked the Terran music. #3 is a bit Dave Matthews at times D: But I think they're all decent stuff.
 
Yeah, I'm getting a really strong Firefly vibe from the Terran themes - always a good thing.

^I watched that stream too! They found each other again a game or two later. They were like "QUIT FOLLOWING US!"

I had one great battle, and one great ambush. But other than that, I didn't really get anything done, and came in last place in every category :p
