I'll be moving into my new house for my second year of uni soon, only there are no TV aerial points in my bedroom. Therefore I'm thinking of investing in a basic USB TV stick such as the one shown here which should enable me to watch digital freeview channels on my nice 19" LCD monitor.

Does anyone here use USB TV sticks? If so, what would you recommend? Does the above look like a reasonable purchase?

I have an internal TV card, which works wonders with the one-for-all freeview ariel that I just bought. Are you officially a freeview region now? if not then you might have problems with the reception.

Yeah I'm in a supported freeview region, I just hope the antenna will be able to transmit a decent signal.

I've used one before although I never got it to work, but it might've been a faulty one anyway. Is this going to be for a Laptop or Desktop? If for a desktop then I'd highly recommend getting a PCI or PCI-E based one if you can as it will be better. If not then just go with a USB one. As long as the TV aerial strengh is good it should be alright.
