I have been ignoring him. There's loads of ready made hacks ready to do this job but I just can't be arsed.

No really, there's nothing out there yet. I keep checking every week and I promise when I do find it I'll put it on.

I've just found two firefox addons that let you monitor threads + loads of other stuff:
