Validating resources?

What the ¤/!=%!!/>& damn is this?! DoD goes fast by everything else, but when it comes to this, it just chugs... and chugs... and chugs some more...

What I tried was simple: Click connect on a server (had 22 players on).

Also, now when I try again, the screen just resize to 640x480 and locks up there. (seeing this in very ugly and large text). But lets ignore the fact that NOTHING IN STEAM WORKS and lets get back to the main questions: Is it suppose to take long (waited 5+ minutes)? What is it?

If you get to the point where Steam changes the resolution, and get stuck for more than a minute or two, ctrl+alt+delete and try again.
Works for everything. If Steam gets stuck - reopen.

Alrightie then... I just exited Steam (no other steam thingies running, it said there was, had to ctrlaltdelete) and restarted it. Now DoD is unavailable. OR it just keeps preparing the game.

I have seen many buggy programs, but this is just ridiculus :dozey:

How do you know what content server you are getting your info from?
In aus here we have caps, and i want to get it off this free site for me (ausgamers) Is it just from the picture below? And will restarting steam lots change the servers?
