A new video showing a Vampire 2 Demonstration was released today.

Very cool stuff, they also show off cool VGUI2 possibilities (while hacking the pc).
The remaining parts of the presentation will be made available in the following days...
 
Looks kinda boring. Then again, he's making it sound like the RPG/FPS genre has never been attempted before..

The VGUI2 demonstration was pretty cool.. and, did that gothic woman flash you? lol

That's amazing. Go Valve :) Not only is HL2 gonna be awesome, other games are going to benefit from Source too! :D

I love VGUI2 :) Also, does this mean source is capable of breast physics?
 
Is Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines a MMORPG?
 
Wow, that video was awesome! Good to see Troika is still good with their character development stats and stuff... Arcanum's was really good... and Bloodlines has even got a similar layout. :p

And the people... they were actually dancing! :eek: That's new! :D

This looks great. I can`t wait for this game. Anyone know when it`s due for release? Too bad it looks very hardware hungry :(

Yes it has Deus Ex was one of the 1st games to be a RPG/FPS game.

Downloading vid, been following this game for a while cant wait for it to come out.

First off, no, Deus Ex was not one of the first games to be RPG/FPS.

Secondly, I was saying he made it out to sound like V:BtM was one of a kind because it was an RPG.

To be honest I havnt been all that impressed with this game...


But I dunno.. watching that video somehow reminded me of DeusEx... Dont ask me how. It just did! :O

It looked fun. I may give it a chance after all...
 
Great gfx - was a big fan of Vampire the masqurade(sp?)...

A thing that bugs me is in the vid the footstep sound does'nt seem to follow the characters footsteps (animation) - dunno if its a sync problem with the vid or not.

Oh yeah and it sounded like he was running around on bare feet - odd?

According to Gamespot it should hit shelfs on the 12 of October this year. :)
 
downloaded the video and kinda skimmed through it :)
i'll have more time to view it later tonight.. but so far from what i've.. the game looks pretty good :)

im happy i didn't get Far Cry...it will give me a chance to perhaps purchase this baby ;)
 
WOW! This game Is what DX:IW should have been. And as uch as i am miffed about it not coming out before HL2 i'ts nice to know that anytime it's not allowed to be released is time for polish... lots and lots of polish.

But yeah, thats why I mentioned DE1 in my first post... It kind of made me think about how much I really really want a Proper DE2! :(

after playing DX through a good 5 times, i know how you feel. But yeah this is going to be "DX2". It's just the robots and things have "different" textures.... Okay okay i'm talking crap but you all get the idea. I am however chuffed to bits.

I don't believe HOW people can't like the source engine's graphics. They just look so much more realistic than anything I've seen before.

Nice presentation. The game looks like it could be a lot of fun.

I really, really liked the VGUI 2 system being shown off, though that was due to it's obvious potential in HL2 and mods- very pretty, very slick, very useful.
 
huge fan of fallout, and a lot of the people from troika are from fallout dev team, played a little bit of elemental evil, had a blast, that game can get pretty tough, but yea, this game looks pretty good, i really want to check it out when it comes out.

i like the amount of choices you get to choose your race, what choice are you guys gonna choose, right now i'm looking toward those charismatic ones b/c i love playing like that in an rpg, although the nosferatu is definately gonna be a popular pic to.
 
I didn't really see any speculars, though. They really look pretty neat in HL2 - and seeing the gritty style of vampires - it would have made a fine addition.

The VGUI2 looks good, and finally a RPG with good graphics after a long time. I think the last good looking RPG (graphically) I had played was dungeon seige and morrowind.
 
I wasnt keen on the character models from the screenshots , but the club owner was pretty hot.
Was that just me then?
