I need some help to troubleshoot this shit. I will try my best to explain it.

My internet connection works ok, i am able to download things, play games online, and surf the web etc. However, when it comes to uploading certain things it gives me problems. I am able to send files to people via msn, i am able to seed when using torrents, i am able to upload to facebook and photobucket. BUT, i can NOT upload anything to youtube, imageshack.us, or 4chan.

The last drop is that i cant connect to my EA account on Bad Company 2 beta. No no, this is not a problem with the beta, its something wrong on my end. How do i know that? Well, i have posted on the official forums several times and NO ONE have the same problem as me. I gave my account info to two of my friends and asked them if it worked, and it worked perfectly for them. The problem i am having is that when i select my Soldier, it says "Updating stats" and then "lost connection to EA servers".

Im suspecting its the same issue im having with uploading to youtube and other sites. Other annoying internet issues i am having is that my connection will just stop randomly, not disconnect, just "stop". What i mean is that if im logging into Gmail, or downloading a file, or streaming a video, or updating antivirus, it loads fine untill randomly it just stops, and i have to manually kickstart it by refreshing the page/download or in the case of streaming video, click on an area that havent been loaded yet, to sort of "boost" the connection again.

Its a problem on my end because i can upload fine to all those sites with my other computer that is hooked up on the same network. So it has to be something wrong with my PC. I have formated countless of times, installed the latest ethernet drivers, changed the ethernet cable, tried different slots in the router, but to no success. I have even changed my motherboard, but that didnt solve anything either.

So these are my strange issues. I have done all the troubleshooting i can, and now im asking anyone else for help. I hope i have been clear enough.

Using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.

I would have to go with some blocked ports. Check your firewall and make sure your UAC is disabled because it's terrible and ruins everything. Also, some virus protectors these days like to randomly block ports so check that too. The easiest way to see if it's one of them is to temporarily disable them all and see if it works, that way you know what it is and can remedy it at your leisure.

Have you changed any internet settings in your Windows installation, or are they all default?

I have these problems even without any firewalls and no UAC, even a clean fresh install of Windows 7 wont solve it.

Virustype2, they are default. Dont know what else i can change.

Default is good, then you can eliminate that as a possibility.

Post the results from this, will ya?

Also, do you know your internet provider? I've heard some completely block uploading if they think it might be copyright or P2P. Some games use P2P.

Well a fresh install of Windows 7 is set up for people who have gone full retard and you have to turn everything off.

The only other thing I could think is your router settings.

The download works, but then it gets stuck on "Perparing Upload" and gives me the error "Upload test returned an error while trying to read the upload file". My ISP is an italian one, called Alice. But i can upload to facebook and other sites. And my other PC can upload to ALL sites. So i doubt its the ISP blocking me, since i can still seed torrents.

What the **** is wrong with my computer :bonce: all i want to do is play some Bad Company 2 :(

I don't know!

D:

So, it has to be the hardware or software of your computer, or your router.

Do you have a wireless adapter or an Ethernet controller? Could it be that you never installed the Ethernet controller drivers for your new motherboard? Or maybe you let Windows install some (for wireless card or Ethernet controller)?

I use ethernet, and i first let Windows Update install the ethernet drivers. I then later downloaded the auto updater from realtek and installed the drivers it suggested for me, but that didnt change anything.

Its probably something wrong with my router then, i just dont know how to do anything with routers :S

Nobody does!

You could try plugging your computer into the router where your other computer was (the one that works). Leave all the other computers unplugged and try it. It's a long shot.

Or you could plug your computer having the problems directly into the modem and see if you can upload.

OMG I THINK I SOLVED IT!!!!

My computer auto connects when i start the computer. So i went and created a new separate connection that requires me to type in the name and password to my network, and now everything works. Very very strange, but it works!!! Thanks for your help! :D

Sending shit in MSN is probably unrelated as MSN sucks donkey balls at sending files.
