It's not so much that kids can't buy M videogames than it is an issue of this 'games cause violence' bullshit.
It's never been conclusively proven by anyone. There are instead only a handful of 'studies' that no-one ever describes in-depth.
The good (sorta) news is that the non-gaming generation is quickly dying out. The bad news is that they're trying to take society down with them.
