VMB How can I enter cheats???

I have a problem entering cheats, I know you have to press ~ before you enter a cheat but its just not working for me. I've basically tried everything...I tried entering it in a random computer in the game... ;( but its just not working...

how exactly do you do it? i'm desperate... ;(

you press the ~ button (top left of keyboard under the escape button DUH ) then if that doesn't not work go to OPTIONS > KEYBOARD > ADVANCED > from there you'll find two options and the consol option is turned off > turn it ON
