just like the original...i have almost no complaints. perfect shoot'em up.

and i cannot stress enough how impressed i am by the AI...no game that i know of doesn't even come half close to it. seriously...i was shooting behind a counter when suddenly i run out of bullets, i duck and reload, and when i turn around and stand up some north Korean jumps the counter and almost nails me...seriously...i'm not kidding.

I have to agree on it being a great game, Very fun crazy action and gameplay.

Crysis Warhead?
If the nanosuit is anything like the first one it'll be far too easy.

Holy shit man, what a huuuuuge sig! Good to see you back too :)

I wouldn't pay for Warhead :|

And to think there was a time mods were anal about sig sizes.

Crysis is possibly one of the shittiest FPS games I have ever played.

OH MAH GAWD WE MUST BURN THIS SUIT OR KOREANS WILL GET IT!!

Clearly it is not.

I got it. Played it a couple of months ago, It crashed at first level and I have never tried it again.

people liked warhead? i thought it was utter crap, the story was the dumbest thing ever. the original crysis was much better.

if you demand from crysis to challenge your imagination or intelligence, then you have the wrong game.

like i've said...i'm a sucker for aliens vs humans stories, so everything works for me.

i especially like the setting of crysis...first half 21 century human technology (about 2020) against semi advanced aliens....perfect action combination.

To me, Warhead seemed much more polished all around than the original. More optimized engine, better pacing (korean and alien encounters more mixed, ie. not mutually exclusive) and overall feel. I also liked how the story (while not the best one out there) had actually some character development, which is an improvement from Crysis's none.

Played through Crysis recently - incredible average, unfortunately. I'll play Warhead eventually.

Warhead was alright, I'd have enjoyed it more if I wasn't play tug-o-war with the settings the whole way through (Was on pretty high settings throughout, the snow killed my fps though)

Original Crysis, liked that more than Warhead. Still like both games though, I'm a whore for it's graphics engine.

ohmygarsh I bought this game when it came out and I still haven't installed it. Completely forgot! Maybe tomorrow.

Graphics are sweet. Everything looks like real plastic.

I found Crysis to be better than say, Quake 4, but nothing to shout about.

seriously crysis is one of the best no-brainer shooter even from a technical point of view.

excellent AI,
physics actually play an important role,
immersive graphics,
intense and relatively pristine action (gun behavior, you die easy if just running in the middle of a firefight, taking cover)

ok the story was not anything original...but ok, at least the aliens were nicely made.
and of course it was too short...got cheesy at times, but all in all an excellent shooter.

don't know what you guys were expecting... masters of Orion 5?

I bought this a few days ago and like it so far. I'm experiencing intermittent freezing that lasts for a second or so at some points, but other than that i'm happy with the game.

The nanosuit took all challenge out of the game.

Without the nonosuit it would be some boring CoDuty shooter. The nanosuit made the game.

It wasn't balanced though. Recharge times should be slower and stealth at least should have a proper cooldown.

no i think the nanosuit was properly made. playing crysis below hard difficulty is a waste of time. at hard...tough battles are really tough despite the nanosuit.

No, I played it through once on the hardest mood and it was shit easy. And I'm no FPS god, just used the suit smartly.

Without the suit there would have been no fun in the game. The fun comes from ****ing around in the suit. All the other game mechanics are pretty meh.

Warhead was very decent indeed. but i thought the original was miles better. It was just grander, more variation. i liked the stealthy build up it had to the amazing and wide-stretched finale. I dont like how they had to dumb down the graphics a little for warhead. The scenery was excellent in the original, and felt short-ended in warhead. Plus, there are graphics cards now thatll run the original crysis graphics just fine. Oh well... *waits for Crysis 2*

Played the original Crysis demo on my new rig and I like it enough to get it on Steam. However, which one, Warhead or original? Fiberawptic, what do you mean with dumbed down graphics? Less pretty than Crysis, or just less things to tweak?

I've now completed it twice (once on Normal and again on Delta), and have been randomly reloading checkpoints. The suit is rather overpowered, but it is what makes the gameplay interesting. It was hard to get away from the creep and snipe tactics, because the environment and suit make it easy to dominate like this, but I've started playing run and gun, using speed and the shotgun as an ambush. You can close the distance on your opponent really fast, then drop them with the shotgun at point blank.

Why they bother leaving SO much ammunition laying around, I don't know. I tried using it all once, and unless you're purposely shooting the sky, there's more than you can possibly use to kill everything.

My poor 7800GTX is showing its age with this game though - and I ordered a new video card just today.

Yeah its pretty cool, but i couldn't get over how goddamn terrible the cutscenes in the game were. Its a silly thing to pick on but oh well.

They were ****ing awful.
