Hey guys ive been wanting 2 make a game website for quite a time now. It would be full of reviews, downloads, info, and more. Want im asking is if anyone would be interested in helping me out since a game website is really a big project for one person. If any of you guys are interested in helping me please just post it here and ill get back to u.

How much web devlopment experience do you have? I'm not being pessimistic, it's just... you'd have a serious lot of competition and you'd need something truely awesome and unique to be able to make the slightest success out of what could be a hell of a lot of effort.

I would be willing to write out my opinions on games. I'm not talking about 'this game SUX" comments either. I play tons of games outside HL as well, so I might be able to help. I would also recommend finding people who will write articles on general subjects, a common example would be gaming and violence. But don't accept anyone right off the bat. Estimate your invisioned team size, triple that, and allow that many people to submit articles/reviews which you suggest. With that, you should be able to see who expresses themselves and their toughts the best.

Its not going 2 be like this big ass game places like the ones u posted pobz. Its going 2 be more of a home 2 gamers will everyone will be able 2 express their mind and talk games. Just a huge hang out for gamers. I know it sounds like im crazy in trying 2 make this huge game site but I dont plan on it 2 be huge. Like I said before a place 2 hang and chill. Also I wouldnt really have big competition if people trusted me and liked what they were reading and hearing. Thats what makes people want 2 come and stay at a site. Anyways for making websites I havent done one in awhile but im sure I can make a good one anyways. So if anyone wants 2 help me out thats great. Thanks

I thought about doing that once a few years ago, then I came to my senses and realized that there are wayy too many crappy gaming sites out there already.
Unless you can make a lot of good content, I doubt it would work out.

I dont have a life and im always sitting here on my computer so I will pretty much have all the time I need 2 work on the site. It takes time 2 get something up and running smoothly and im not usually a patient guy but for games ill take all the time I need. Either way ill prob make this site.

Learn HTML, get a sponsor and some cash, find a good host, don't plug your site because your prolly gonna skip the HTML and cash part and just choose freewebs and have the homepage be.

I might think about maybe helping you if you stop replacing "to" with "2".
