What are some weird things some of you can do that you were either born with, or can currently do because of some kind of accident/surgery etc?

Examples:

squirt liquids from eyes/nose.

Have hair in unusual places.

joint deformities

One of mine is that I can twitch the major thumb muscle (located on the corner of the palm) in my left hand by rolling the thumb on the right hand.

Also, I can drink water through my nose without drowning myself. Burns like hell though.

The best I can do is waggle my ears independently. Not very interesting.

roll tongue
raise either eyebrow independantly
fur keeps me very warm
etc.

I can wiggle my ears (not the ear, more like flexing the part of my scalp around my ears, making them move)

I can snort liquids and shoot them out my eye (discovered this 'talent' one day when I had a nose bleed and blood started coming out of my eyes while I was holding my nose.)

I can flex my neck to make it similar to a frog (the way they inflate their necks, I can do the same).

I can regurgitate food to a degree (I keep in half-way down my throat hole, so I don't actually bring it up from my stomach)

Awesome. BTW, my internet connection has been unusually fast lately. It's almost like I hi-jacked someone's Wi-Fi or something........:upstare:

I was born with this weird ability to control alloys.

My brother's friend can inhale a cigarette, and force smoke to come out of the corner of his eyeball.

It's crazy.

Do you guys ever dream about something and then when it really happens in real life a few months/weeks later and it'll be like "this looks familiar" or "haven't I dreamed of this before?"?

I've asked around my friends and family and about 6/10 said they do.

Do you guys have dreams that comes true in real life?

I was born... with the weird ability to... resist anesthetics used in surgery, which I found out a few months ago when they crammed a tube down my throat into my stomach.

Which is not all that good. Seriously not good.

@the dreams thing - It's called Deja Vu.. As far as I know happens to everyone.

Are you serious?! What's makes you think that you just don't coincidentally get some incompetent surgeon every visit? Is it official?

Being awake is a side affect from the anesthetics.

I stutter. Does that count?

And I can bend my pinky finger sideways at a 90 degree angle.

my hips turn in a different direction than most people. Like, i can with the side of- well.... I honestly can't explain it... :(

Deja Vu isn't really tied to dreams. It's from a delay in storing information/ reading information into your memory, causing your brain to be confused and think that the event had happened at a prior date.

I slur a word here and there unless i consciously slow down my talking.

Once i was bitten by a special spider, and now i can shoot webs out of my wrists and swing on them through buildings and down streets. Also i have tiny hairs on my fingers which allow me to climb up walls. I use these special abilities to fight crime. Why? Because with great power comes great responsibility. And so i realised that i must become someone, to fight the bad happenings and evil men in this world and transform myself into my true identity;

Turf man!

The end.

I can shoot both of my pinky fingers out at a velocity of 1200 feet per second with deadly accurate aim and they disintegrate to nothing in 2 minutes after being ejected. New pinkies re-grow in around 3 days making them a completely untraceable, infinitely renewable, perfectly concealed weapon. There has only ever been four people to see me do this, two of them were killed by my right pinky, the other two by my left.

Well, they haven't tested me thorougly, so its not official. There's a chance of incompetence, too.

They told me that I should look into that sometime though.

I hope to god that I'm fine, because... you know..

You should watch the movie Awake.

Well, only the first half.

The movie is about a guy who is awake while doctors perform heart surgery on him. Fun stuff.

Just cause you're anestetized, doesn't mean you won't have the puke reflex with an endoscope down your throat.

Well... I can move my eyebrows and my left eye independently. Does that count?

Also I was born right after the Chernobyl disaster so I'm cool that way.:p

I have a wierd hair on my left arm thats whisper thin but grows to extreme lengths before falling out. The last time it grew it managed to grow to a length of 5 inches before falling out. :s

I also used to have 5 canine teeth as one of my adult canines came down in the place of a molar 2 teeth away from where it should have and the canine milk tooth stayed in place as it had no adult tooth to push it out. However the baby tooth eventually fell out in my mid twenties leaving me gap toothed.

No, I was injected with a tranquilizer and had something to paralize my throat. The paralysis worked fine, as I didn't puke my lungs out or drown in my own saliva, but I was wide awake and quite unable to move.

Raising each eyebrow independantly AND wiggling my ears. Take that Teal'c!

I can take massive amounts of head trauma without going unconscious, along with that comes a memory of a couple seconds.
