I can see what you mean.. kinda.. But you don't put any numbers in it, so its got no way of knowing which number you picked. If you entered any numbers atall then it would work something like that, but you don't, so it can't, its a 1/100 chance of getting it right and gets it right each time. There's another way it does it, but I'll be buggered if I knowCrazyHarij said:I know how it works... Look at 64, subtract 6+4 (10) , voila 54.. The symbol is exactly like the one on 54.. Next time it's it again, and next , and next.. Notice all the numbers that have the same symbol as 54.. These are the numbers you can possibly get by subtracting stuff.. You won't get any other number than those .. Hope you understand my jibberish..
EDIT: sorry didn't see the other posts.
ooh, i worship your skill with mathLoneDeranger said:Here is the "math" explanation:
Think of each number as 10x + y. So if u have 56, x = 5 and y = 6.
5 * 10 + 6 = 56
Now you subtract the second digit:
(10x + y) - y = 10x
Now you subtract the first digit:
10x - x = 9x
The answer is always divisible by 9. So you just have to make all number divisible by 9 have the same symbol.
