How many of you are encountering financial problems caused by THE RECESSION D:?

I am. Which is why I've been away! But I return. Just as poor but feeling better.

Missed you, hl2.net. Spare some change?

I don't spend money, and don't put my money in banks (for tax reasons, HA! Beat that you theiving IRS/MNT!).

Therfore I'm fine.

edit: Then again, I'm a student. :p

I almost got laid off, but instead i wasnt so i'm now making more money than I have ever before.

I live in Buffalo and we've been safe from a Recession in some aspects. When your constantly in the decline you hardly notice a nose dive

I've been laid off, I've cut my hair, I've been visited by a bailiff.

Hair not really related.

"computer" is totally a euphemism.

Why are there bailiffs rap...harassing phobster?

Shut your face woman. I asked you a question.

I'd just like to point out that I respect Phobie for whatever amount "personality" and "intellect" a woman can possibly possess. Which is admittedly very little; indeed, women not good for much more beyond their bodies. However! I assure you all that Phobie's body is quite "bangable," as one might say. Even the snippets of intellect are somewhat enjoyable, though I do my best to ignore them.

User review?

Where's my damn sandwich? Come on, there's TWO of you, so it should take HALF the time.

Apparently I owe ?2000 to the council, LOLOLOL!

Seriously though I didn't get any letters about this until I got a bailiff notice saying they were going to put my stuff onto public auction to raise the money I owe. Oh me oh my.

Great reviews by the way, A++++++++++++. Would Review reviewer again.

How the hell can you owe that much money and not know about it? I call shenanigans on you.

When I moved house apparently there was council tax due right away or something, but the account was in my dad's name, he didn't know about it, moved back to Paris.

SO THEN he found out he owed it, but was like no this is her council tax, cancelled it in his name and made it in mine but they were sending letters to my dad's house.

SO THENNNNNNNNNNNNNN I wrote to them a while ago saying wtf where are my bills and they sent me a lovely bailiff letter in response.

Well theres an easy solution. Cancel it in your name, and remake it in your dad's.

Then change your name, move again, and never speak with your family for the rest of your life.

The last two steps I have practically done already.

IT DOESN'T HELP, KRYNN. GODDDDD. Look just give me some money OK? I'm sure we can work something out.

Huh... I too have been laid of cut my hair and have big money problems.

Let's start a gang. You can lure people into an alley and then I'll rape/kill/rob them.

I would, but alas, I am about to move myself.

I wish you well in the current economic climate.

I'm such a professional. Little do my (soon to be ex) employers know that I am sitting on my ass reading hl2.net

I'm being made redundant by my company, a construction contractor. I've got seven weeks left... the great thing is that in that time I'll no longer have a guilt complex about spending most of my working day on the net, wahoo!

Phobie!

Don't return to Tunbridge Wells. There are bad things afoot here.
