What 3 things would you save in a fire

Nothing; it'd be interesting to start over from scratch.

Well, okay, I'd save my cats.

Cat
Bass Guitar
Computer

I imagine my two dogs would just follow us out, my 80-something other pets would probably be let loose and it's up to them to gtfo from there.

Me
Myself
I

If you guys will allow, I may also throw my family and four dogs to the floor as fodder whilst I try to save my laptop as a fourth option.

1. acoustic guitar
2. computer
3. roommates

External Hard Drive,
External Hard Drive,
My little plastic orangutan.

The Wii box and its contents
My tiger calender
And my fairly light tower.

Assuming my family was able to get out on their own, I'd save:

  • My motorcycles
  • All of our pictures and home movies
  • My grandfather's WWII medals, jacket, and journal

My two guitars, laptop and my desktop tower if I could manage.
If your room had already been filled with smoke, all that shit would be nothing but paperweights anyways.

Your electronics would be f**ked with all that smoke damage.

EDIT> That also goes for everybody else who said, PC, Xbox360, etc.

I'd go down in the blaze along with all my meaningless possessions.

I keep reading this as "What 3 things would you set on fire."

I would remove all the burning parts of my house, and hope that it remains structurally unsound

Also haiku go

I'd save what I can
Pets and hard-drive first, of course
Let's hope I survive

PC/Hardrive
Art
Imprtant papers, insurance, contracts, etc

Apart from that my little bro and parents ofcourse

My portable HD, my box of sentimental thingers and my wallet I guess.

I would want to save allot of stuff but the importance of my own continued existance + contents insurance means I could probably afford to lose most things in my home.

I don't have many sentimental keepsakes either that I couldn't live without.

Most of my art, photos and the likes are kept on a portable HD so it'll be easy enough to grab, my wallet has ID and what-not and money so naturally that gets saved, and my box of sentimental thingers has all my keepsakes from memorable times in my life, a coin from here, a bit of tourist tat from there, tickets from places I've been, ect ect.

I'd like to save the ammo crate full of photos and letters from ex girlfriends but oh well, too heavy and too much hassle, I've got some stuffed toys from my childhood in the loft, Barney will burn unfortunately.

If I could grab a few more things, I'd grab my folder full of important papers, receipts and the likes, and my assault vest, which happens to have some survival gear in it, which since I live in a city seems a tad needless but oh well.

You know, I think I'd prefer just to save my home.

Signed copy of Nation by T.P.

...signed copy?

A mother****ing signed copy?!?!?!

Yeah, my sister has a few signed copies of Discworld books, got me this one for my bday :)

...

...

The only signed thing I have is Warlock by Wilbur Smith and Prelude and Nocturnes by Neil Gaiman (I donated my signed copy of American Gods to my high school library, mainly because it was a decent library).

Oh that's cool, Gaiman is just as awesome as T.P.
My sister is going to meet Neil this week sometime iirc, lucky beatch.

I want to meet PTerry, but I find it unlikely I will travel to England before he, uh, forgets who he is.
