I'm looking to start a collection, I already have Chrono Trigger and FF3. What are some games that are worth money? Thanks

not rare but street fighter, and the star wars trilogy. actually they probably are pretty rare

Lock On, no idea if it's rare though.

Super Mario: Legend of the Seven Stars is VERY rare. I have it, but one of my friends said she was looking for it and took her forever to find it, and then she had to pay a hefty price for it.

Secret of Mana, few of my friends know it but it's my favorite game on the SNES.

Make sure you get Secret of Mana (my fave game btw)

It'll sit perfectly alongside Chrono Trigger and FF3 :) Best 3 SquareSoft games ever \o/

(it's not that rare, though)

Forgot Super Mario World, very good game IMO.

Chrono Trigger is pretty rare. Last I knew it used to go for $120 but it might have gone down since the re-release of it on ps. Btw it is might favorite game of all time.

Super Metroid 3 is a really good SNES game..but I dont think its rare.

I have Chrono Trigger and FF3 with boxes and manuals and everything which is awesome. I'm not positive about this but I think the RPG Earthbound is pretty damn rare but it's one of the best games ever :)

contra3 is a pretty rare game, and a serious fun game to

Looney Toons B-ball. IMO, it's the best basketball game ever made, and i'm being serious. It's so damn hard to find too.

Not only is this game rare, it's practically unheard of. Lagoon for the SNES. It was an Adventure game, but mixed in some RPG elements as well. I liked it a lot, but sadly while nearing the end of the game, I deleted my save and never was able to finish it :(

Oh I played Lagoon. My parents still have it at their house. It can't be THAT rare.

I don't know if these are rare or not but some lesser known SNES titles I really liked were:

1. SOS
2. EVO
3. King Arthur's World
4. Cybernator
5. Zombies Ate My Neighbors

1. SOS was kinda this strange survival type game where you have to escape from a sinking ship. The thing is, the levels are constantly changing as the ship rotates around you. Really open ended and really atmospheric.

2. EVO was a weird one. It mixed actions elements with RPG elements and essentially let you evolve your own creature during the course of the game. There were literally hundreds of combinations of creatures that you could make.

3. King Arthur's World is perhaps the only RTS I've played that took place on a completely 2D plane. There was left/right movement and that's it. Had a bunch of puzzle elements as well. It got extremey poor reviews if memory serves.

4. Cybernator was basically a straight forward action game. Except really well done. It was developed by Konami in what I consider their heyday. One of this first 2D games I remember that let you aim in 8 different directions. Very hard.

5. Zombies Ate My Neighbors was this LucasArts game where you played a teenager trying to fend off a Zombie invasion. You go around rescuing people and killing zombies. Lots of different weapons. Had a lot of fun with the co-op mode with this one. (Secret of Mana had better co-op but we're talking "lesser known games right?)
