Hey man can you please borrow a camera if you don't have one, and video it. I want to see this.mayro said:Well... I used to work at a movie theater and im still good friends with the manager who is also a hl nut. We are gona hook my pc up to the projector "not the regular one for movies but one that can outbut dvi" and the plug my audigy 2 into the sound system " still dont know how hes gona do it" but it will be awsome. Ill be the first person possibly besides gabe and them to play halflife 2 on a movie screen. After that we are gona fallow it up with a 32 man lan or 2 16 men lans for hl2 depending on what the limits are for the game.
Im interested to see what you guys are planing. What are your BIG plans for HL2.
Or
Since their are like 6 good games coming out within 2 weeks, what are your plans on that?

Anyway I think I won't be doin' anything special - just making sure nobody can disturb me for the next 4 hours...
Oooooh, that's gotta suck!Foxtrot said:I am going to play the game...for 2 hours then my brother will want to play it...for 2 hours...then my other brother will want to play it for 2 hours...then if there is any time left in the day I will play it for 2 hours.
Yeah, a damn short time... But you know what? I'm 100% sure it won't ship on a Friday - so that I'd buy it in the evening, immediately after leaving the office, and go through a 48-hour playing session without sleeping :E; I'm sure it will ship on a Monday or Tuesday (September 30th 2003 was a Tuesday!) and all that I will be able to do is playing until midnight or something. You can easily imagine how painful it's gonna be telling myself: "OK, I'll stop as soon as I complete this level - tomorrow morning I'll have to get up at 6.00 and my boss won't be happy if I'm late..." :rolling:Goliath_1986 said:4 HOURS ?!?! thats a damn short time...when i have a new game thats kicking ass i cant get off the chair for at least 6 hours...when i get off its just to go pee and then im ready for another 6-hour round !
and especially that ill stay n play 30-60 minutes with all the objects i can find on each episode...12 episodes will take a damn long time if i do that...blah who cares i wanna throw my pistol at the headcrabs once its out of ammo. :naughty:

2.)Run in, grab HL2, look at the price for about .0001 seconds and pay.
3.)Get in my car, grab HL2 out of the bag. Smile at the HL logo.
4.)Rip the box open, stare at the CD, then look at the manual.
5.)Drive home, stop to read the manual at every red light/stop sign
6.)Break the speed limit again.
7.)Get home, run into my room, close the door, turn out the lights, turn up the spekers.
8.)Install the game, read the manual while waiting
9.)Skip registration
10.)Start the game
11.)Play the hazard course
12.)Grab a couple cokes and some snacks.
13.)Start single player.
14.)Embrace....

If you really want to be tortured....I am going to not buy Half Life 2 when it comes out. So I can be a tortured artist and lament over not having it.
