try to stick to known groups (international stars) and away from local bands (I'd have at least another 20 entries if I listed those)

the who (2)
pink floyd
Iron Maiden (2)
Rolling Stones
David Lee roth, steve vai (2)
Van Halen (2)
Ozzy Osbourne, Queensryche
Faith No More
Fishbone (3)

there's more but I cant remember right now

Metallica
Linkin Park
The Darkness
Bowling For Soup
Simple Plan :)rolleyes:)
Red Hot Chilli Peppers (x2/x3!)
Queens Of The Stone Age
Foo Fighters
Feeder

They are the main bands anyways...

-Korn
-P.O.D.
-Mudvayne
-Amen
-Static-X
-Slipknot

They're all from my youth metal phase, I hardly listen to any of that stuff anymore ;) though I'd yet like to see bands like Slayer and Metallica live.

A Perfect Circle, Zwan, Cake, the eels and a couple more that weren't that great.

I'll just name my fave. 'big name band' gigs; Anthrax, Peter Gabriel (best show eva), Sepultura, Slayer, Metallica (nothing off St.Anger played, lots of Kill 'Em All, ace), Dream Theater.

Only been to one concert, The Unholy Alliance; Slipknot and Slayer. Saw Hatebreed there too, but missed Mastodon like a lot of people who went to that show I think.

peter gabriel is probably the only performer I'd pay money to see if he came to town

Get up kids/Thrice/Dashboard Confessional (all at same concert, went for thrice)

Eric Clapton
Beatles cover band (not really big band)
Rob Zombie

I've seen Metallica once. Definately THE high point in my life
I hope to see Iron Maiden this coming summer

Linkin Park,
Spunge (american Band)
Something Corperate
Homegrown
Never Heard Of It
Graveltrap
InMe

Nobody. All my favourite bands are either broken up because of the lead singer OD'ing on heroin, or they never tour in Europe often.

NiN
A Perfect Circle
Matthew Good Band (Matthew Good is now a solo musician)
Moist

Tool (3+)
APC (2)
Ministry
Metallica
Audioslave
Smashing Pumpkins

Damn right. Have you seen the Growing Up Live DVD? That was the show, well, not that exact one, but the same only I saw it in Birmingham. A-mazing show. Solsbury Hill was brilliant. And I got to see Tony Levin in the flesh. D:

Backstreet Boys(EWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
RUSH
and also might be going to see U2 in Italy, yay!

I'm seeing Streetligh Manifesto, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Mu330 tomorrow! Other than that the only band I've seen live (that is worth mentioning) is Five Iron Frenzy.

None, most of my favourite bands stay on the far side of the atlantic :(

Well, if you live in the UK, they're supposed to be headlining the Reading/Leeds festivals this year.

Yeah it was really really good. It was with a bigger band than his quartet though, which was cool. He's about a million years old now, so it looked as if he might keel over and die at any minute, which certainly lent a potential drama to the proceedings.

Muse (and The Zutons as support)
And Jools Holland and his band when they played at Lincoln Castle

I don't think he is, the Growing Up tour was pretty big and spectacular. Where do you live in the 'ol world? He went pretty far with the tour.

The Slackers
H20
Jets to Brazil

There are probably a couple I've forgotten... and if there are that many national bands, you can imagine how many local shows I've been to... oy... I wouldn't even be able to remember the names of all the bands...

Bands I haven't seen yet but I really want to:
Counting Crows

I remember watching Foo Fighters and Muse in the pissing rain at night with a smile in my heart and trenchfoot in my shoes.

To be honest, I haven't seen any big bands live. I would kill to see Dream Theater. Or Nirvana, but I don't think that happening.

The biggest I've seen is Mailman's Neighbor, and that because I'm their bassisst.
