What Game Gets Your Blood Boiling?

It's not the games that get me but the people playing them or should I say playing with me. Listen to the experienced players, you'll live longer. I swear some kids just like running past the zombie spawns on ZP:S.

Halo 3.

I cannot see the Legendary ending. Ever. It will not play.

I have whacked the thing with a wrench. It will not play.

I have told it to sit in the corner to think about what it has done. It will not play.

I have yelled at it until my voice turns hoarse. It will not play.

I have kicked it in the gonads. It will not play.

I killed it. It will not play.

I feel the need to toe murder someone. And failing that, left testicle murder them. And failing that, left nipple murder them. And failing that, left pinkie murder them. And failing that, left thumb murder them. And failing that, left middle finger murder them. And failing that left nostril murder them, and failing thet...

Just to clarify, you did play EVERY single mission on Legendary right? I remember mine was set to heroic right in the middle once. Also the movie is after the credits, just in case you didn't know.

Am i the only one that found Legendary on Halo 3 to be. . . a little easy?

and i literally shattered a controller playing Blinx the time sweeper. . . what a stupid game.

actually 2 becomes relatively easy if you can learn to switch between grenades and combos.

and the BR. br owns all in that game.

Hmmm, way too many to mention. I have a bit of an anger management problem when it comes to games. Of recent memory...

N+. Good game, and yet the worst 800 microsoft points I ever spent. Waking up the entire house at 2am with blood-curdling screams because I couldn't pass the ****ing rocket level for probably the 200th time - not a good look.

GTA IV multiplayer. It had potential, but the idiots ruined it. ****ing Xbox Live.

More currently - Warhammer Online. The game itself is fine but, well... if you're in Tier 3 like me, I need only say two words: Tor Anroc.

I found 3 to be a lot easier. The main thing with 2 was the elites' armor, in 3 u just headshot the helmet off and it's easy picking. Not the mention the better guns, mostly ranged.
This isn't to say 2 is that hard a game outside of comparison, it is quite simple compared to other games I've played :p

Soul Calibur 4, Tower of lost souls...

Beating like 6-8 enemys with only one char and beating the last guy to like 10% and have him do a simple move which throws you out and you see that lovely text "RING OUT!"

COD 4 - The end of the sniper level, waiting for the helicopter to land. I was actually cussing out the crippled sniper as if he were an actual person.

Quake 3 - After long streams of profanity, I finally beat the game on nightmare.

But still, by far the most angry I ever got was on smash bros: melee. I was taking accutane at the time too, which amplified my temper at least 10x. After losing, I cussed my friends out and demanding they get on their comps so I could rape them at first person shooters.

My friend got pretty angry once playing WoW. We were lanning in my other friends basement, quietly playing with headphones on, until we heard a loud, WHACK, followed by the noise of letter keys showering around us. I laughed so hard at it, I cried.

Nade spamming in shooters. I can't believe i wasted $50 on COD4. You'd think they fixed this shit after COD2.
Roundplay. "I Am dead! Now what?" I despise it. You want to use it for competitive or "professional gaming"? Fine with me, as long as it is optional. If it wasn't for deathmatch servers, i never would have bothered with Counter Strike in the first place.

There's been a good few over the years. More recently though, Force Unleashed has been getting on my tits.

I mean jesus.... I know bosses are supposed to be difficult but the whole "I'm invincible whilst I chrage up this uber force power" thing is unbelievable. The most recent game from that would be DMC4 for the same reason.

Fighting the Emperor if you choose to be good at the end was ****ing bullshit. Actually being able to rip a Destroyer out of the sky with your bare hands made up for everything bad that was in this game.

EMPEROR? Shit son, I'm struggling on Shaak Ti. D:

I found Shaak Ti to be pretty easy as long as you avoid her bitch crys. Lightning can **** her up good.

Sometimes TF2 makes me raaaaaaaage

Halo mulitplayer with my brother, because we were so evenly matched.

Also rally games where we'd always plug each other's controllers out

Edit: I misunderstood the topic. The above two examples didn't really cause major arguements or anything, just major rivalries.

Edit2: Yesterday playing MGS. I was fighting Liquid on top of Metal Gear REX and he was a cheating ****. I'd do the punch, punch kick combo but after I'd hit him with the first punch he'd start flashing, and then my second punch and kick would go through him, meaning that while Snake was playing out his attack animation and doing no damage Liquid just attacked me while I couldn't do anything. Cheating bastard.

Tekken 3 on PS1. Was versing my dad and he ended up throwing the controller at the TV.

Oh damn, I just remembered a good one. Dead or Alive 4. Final boss.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl - getting killed and going back to your last save but when you spawn there are 10 enemies standing around you (that not there when you originally saved) and kill you in 2 seconds forcing to go back to an even older save and replay sections of the game you already beat. Only to happen again and again and again.

That game pissed me off so much.

The A.I. on the campaign map in Medieval 2 Total War. Oh hi there person we have very good relations with, mind if I besiege your town without reason? What? You defeated my army while defending your territory? That makes me FURIOUS and now I will refuse to rationally negotiate with you!

Also merchants. Those ****ing merchants. All they do is go around buying out your merchants as soon as you get one on a resource, while having a 99% success rate. The only protection is being on an island or being DEEP in your own territory.

When I'm on the noob team in Insurgency. Players don't communicate, half of the team is organized and tries to take a certain point and the rest run off in their separate directions. So annoying. And somehow the snipers try to take point and get shot, and don't bother trying to do their job.

halo 3 legendary isn't as hard as 2

yes, Bungie explicitly sad the difficulty would be bonked down a bit; so Halo 2 Heroic would be basically Halo 3 Legendary; I myself, being a devout player of the Halo series (but not a fanboy) found that if you can play Halo 3 Legendary by yourself without becoming angry it is not legendary.

so many wrestling games are BS, beating John Cena's face in for and hour then having him do a F***ing FU and drop me for a 3-count makes me rage sooooo bad

Battlefield: Bad Company on the Goldrush gametype. So theres a gold crate with about 1% damage left, and there is about 10 seconds left on our teams (opposing) ticket counter before someone inevitably dies. There is one of our soldiers running at the enemy crate and on him he has at least one explosive device, be it a grenade, C4 charge, rocket launcher or heck, even bullets do damage. What does he do to said weakened crate? He plants a charge, a explosive charge that takes 30 seconds to detonate and sends a warning to the defending force that someone is ****ing with their shit. The soldier dies during the time, and the defenders win.

I do not get why so many people don't realise that crates blow up so much faster if you just put tank shells or explosives into them. It's not even like you don't get awareded, either. Urgh. The amount of games I've played where we've lost because no one attempts to shoot at the crates...

I, being an avid helicopter lover and quite a good pilot, once just flew to the enemy base, lowered my altitude to like, 10 meters above ground, and just hovered there, blew out the wall and barraged the crate with missiles while my co-pilot bombed it with the other gun.
I was surprised that I stayed alive long enough to escape and repair.

But to contribute to the negativeness of the topoc...
I understand why most explosions are a bit unrealistically unpowerfull, and sometimes that can be pretty cool actually, but I really don't understand why a man does not die after I send and under-barrel grenade straight into his face.

I'll second that. My main bugbear in that game is the jarring level transitions. They're annoying enough as it is, but it's worst when you spawn in the next level in the middle of a group of a dozen enemies and get gunned down/torn to pieces before you can even move. Exiting the Agroprom Underground and going from Red Forest to Army Warehouses are particularly bad, as you usually spawn in the middle of a group of bandits and a mess of mutants, respectively. :hmph:

Punch Out was one of the biggest, after 8 minutes of the same mechanical routines, i just got pissed and sloppy, no pausing either.

Most recently Vampires Masquerade annoyed me, try using guns exclusively, it sucks. But it was damn fun until i hit an unpassable glitch. Any fps that has your screen shake or blur every time you get shot or slashed always gets me angry, its hard to play with that annoyance especially with games with small health bars

This is when you tell them you can shoot the damn thing and call them morons for not doing so.

I actually thought the H3 heroic mode was pretty well balanced as to what it would be like being the Chief in the battles with the convenant.

Heh, I always quick save before exiting a map and going into another. Also something I hate; seems to have spread from SoC to all single player campaigns, is I think i made a save recently but then I die and it turns out it was a million years back and I have to do all this stuff again. I usually stop playing if that happens :x

What sucks about tis MP is you can only communicate with members of your squad, so he couldn't ave had the pleasure unless e was there.

I share your pain on that one Antipop.

Pro Evolution Soccer 4.

Best Sports game ever. That's good.

It does however make you swear and curse people who you would otherwise gladly risk your life for. That's bad.

Yep, that. Thankfully, they've said they are going to implement a universal comms chatter option into the next patch/update.

i was about to type almost this exact post.

my xbox controller has got a bitemark where i just crammed it in my mouth and bit down hard in frustration. im 26 years old.

Fable just got my blood boiling.

For some reason the game didn't get saved even though I'm almost certain I did manually save it. So I could just load the game from an autosave right? WRONG! Cause when you load in Fable, the game for some unknown reason gets autosaved at that moment, overwriting the previous autosave.

FFFFFFFFFUUUUUU.....

Anything Advance Wars or Fire Emblem. Especially the latter cus the dead stay dead.
