My favourite is curry, although I'm quite partial to sushi.

Indian and Chinese are exceptional, but nothing beats a good English.

I assume you mean either:
-Steak and Kidney pie/pud
-Fish and chips
-'Curry' + pint (so sad). And no, Chicken Tikka Masala isnt actually an Indian dish. Its British.
-Fish and chips
-Mushy peas
-Fish and chips

Anything else i missed?

Chinese all the way. Cant beat it. Its bad for you, but then what isnt nowadays? Hehe
Oh and Sushi.

On that list, I'd pick either Italian or Chinese.

However, Chinese is a bit better.

Chinese: Great, but a bit too much MSG.
Italian: :D
Japanese: Meh, raw fish with wasabi ain't that great.
Mexican: Too.... not spicy when there needs to be spicy.
Indian: Never had any.
Middle Eastern: Never had any.
Caribbean: Not to my tastes.
Mediterranean: Same as above.
French: Too oily, a bit of a weird aftertaste.

What about Korean BBQ, numbers?

I think I like every ethnic food, as long as it's not too fishy in taste.

Well, that is my favorite, but as it wan't on the list. :E

I like spicy/hot foods the best. Gets rid of the fish/meat smell, you see.

Eastern cooking tends to be much more interesting and inventive. Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern, all great. Lebanese food is amazing.
Yes, that is the one and only time you will hear me speak positively of the Middle East.
English food is really boring. Some meat with vegetables. Some fish with chips. Bleh. It's not that it isn't nice, it's just boring.

Italian, following closely by mexican and chinese. And just about anything involving potatoes (boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew); I guess that could go under irish food.

Western Chinese.

The real Chinese food, the one they eat in China, tastes like shit.

I find it's the opposite way round.
"Western Chinese" is mainly South/Cantonese style, which is too sweet and oily for me.

I like the spicy and vinegar tastes of the North and West.

I find Chinese food in this country kinda operates around a "two-tier" system.
Indian food all tends to be roughly the same quality. But you get really shitty Chinese, or really good Chinese.
Chinese takeaways are just junk food. There's a restaurant nearby though which is simply amazing, and at least 50% of the people eating there on any given night are Chinese. That's got to be a badge of honour, particularly as the Chinese population of the local area is less than 2%.

That's what it's like in Chinatown in London. Unsuprisingly :E

Surprisingly, I've only eaten there once...many years ago now. And it was absolutely revolting.
It was a brightly lit basement and the only decorations were strings of Christmas tree lights. You ask for a coke, you get given a can. The sweet and sour sauce was so see-through you could see the metal at the bottom of the whatever-you-call-it that they put it in. And the sweet and sour pork balls were actually sweet and sour cauliflower balls. Yuk.
Soho is an...interesting place.

Indian, Thai, and Japanese are all delicious.

Especially the children.

Malaysian Roti Canai. Can't get enough.

Japanese, Italian, Brazilian, American. I love burgers, hotdogs and fries!

Would you like the pasta and tomato sauce dish, or the pasta and tomato sauce dish.

Perhaps instead you'd like to try our special pasta and tomato sauce dish?

LOL. I'm just kidding... I love italian food, but most all of the dishes with tomato based sauces taste the same to me... like tomato.

You said you were going to bed two hours ago.

I voted Middle Eastern. Mmmm....meaty :p

Next to food from my own country, of course!

What is up with the random bumping of really old threads?

Italian btw.

I have a habit of procrastinating... I did eventually go to bed at 2:00 central.

Italian btw.

Hazar thought it would be funny to annoy me by bumping alot of my old threads.

A tough call between Thai and Indian for me. It has to be a good curry :)

Chinese is good....

there is way too much mexican food in texas. Some say its more prolific than in mexico.

I voted Mediteranean because I like Greek food. Chinese food is just unhealthy.

Chinese food isn't unhealthy...

Americanized chinese food is.

a whole shit ton of cheese quesadillas and a lot of hot and spicy salsa = ennui dream.

Lately I've been liking Middle Eastern food. That's because there's this really good little restaurant down the street that I like to go to, whenever I miss mealtime at my dorm cafeteria. That place is awesome. Fallafel, gyros... mmmm.

From what I've had over in the states, that pseudo-Mexican fast food crap is bloody lovely. I could feel the cholesterol clogging up my veins after one sitting. Ace.

Over here in Blighty though, it has to be the mighty Indian curry. Chicken Saag and Kema Naan go down a treat with a few pints :)
