Top bands at the moment are CSS, Mogwai, Balmorhea, Royksopp and Red Sparowes
 
Right now it's all Nightwish. I can't stop listing to the Poet and the Pendulum.
 
Art music with randomly placed obscure sounds with a square wave drone noise in the background. While I paint pictures of squares and triangles and watch Mulholland drive with the scenes set on shuffle.

rock, prog rock, grunge rock, alt rock, classical, some metal, a little techno and some country.
Bands atm have to be,
Tool, Nirvana, Melvins, Sound Garden, A Perfect Circle, Buckethead (****ing genius btw), Metallica and a bit of Beethoven thrown in there too.
 
I've been getting into punk recently (Joy Division, Buzzcocks, The Stranglers) but I listen to a lot of stuff...

Fav Bands/artist: Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Bob Dylan

A little bit of everything, though rock is the largest portion.
 
I've been falling in love with 2 metal groups, Taproot and Chevelle
 
I listen to almost everything though I tend to avoid rap and country. Pretty much everything else is sweet but my favorite genres are electronic and indie/alternative rock.
 
Trance, dance, rock, jazz, classical, romantic



i never listen to rap, i only dance to it :(
 
I listen to a pretty wide variety of stuff, but indie/alternative music is what I spend most of my time listening to.

Favourite bands would have to be Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Rise Against, Linkin Park (shut up :p), Stratovarius...amongst others.

When I was younger, mostly metal, now everything I like, from metal, rock, jazz, fusion, funk, electronica...

Megadeth is my all time favourite - whats better then playing Half Life and listening to "Hangar 18" :thumbs:
 
I have liked just about everything except country. Punk and metal and pop when I was young, now throw in ambient electronica, jazz, funk, classical, acid jazz, indie pop, and just about everything else.

Thrashcore is probably my favorite genre though. :thumbs:
 
i love all sorts of shit. i like rock, soul, dance, blues, indie, WHATEVER aslong as its not chart wank rnb or whatever. a couple of bands i'm currently investing a bit of time in is the prodigy and the black keys
 
I am dissapointed that Metal was not a choice,
I listen to lots of heavy metal, but the old stuff, like maiden, ozzy, BLS, DIO, Gn'R

im also a big fan of jazz, blues, R&B soul, funk and even a bit of disco.
Gotta love your country and Classical music though, theres nothing like a good country love song, or a good concherito
 
i don't really care about genres. I mean, I can't even distinguish between say, Rock sub-genres. I can't really force myself to listen to rap, but I do like, well, almost everything else. Instrumental, Rock, Electronic, Metal, Classical, etc.
 
Basshunter, Buckethead, Disturbed, Dragonforce, Frank Klepacki, Kelly Bailey, Killswitch Engage, Metallica, Muse, Sum 41, System of a Down, The Offspring, Rammstein, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

By most people's definitions, Metal, Punk, Rock mostly, with a little bit of techno stuff that i like the beat of.
 
Metal. Metal. And more Metal.

Also, been gettin' into Bob Marley as of late.
