What the hell does XoXo mean?

to go a little deeper into it...the X's are supposed to represent puckered lips, and the O's represent encircling someone in your arms. Hence XOXO=hugs and kisses.

what? I thogh the Xs were the crossed arms in the hug and the Os were the lips. Makes more sense.

Love,

Erestheux

xoxoxoxoxoxox

I think that it was always used in letters before it was used on the intarweb.

****en netspeak. I was talking to a local girl on msn a while back an everytime she wrote lol it was like "// lol", I was gonna ask her about the forward slashes, but I concluded I'm a 'netspeak-noob' and would look stupid for asking, so didnt bother..

Its not net speak you idiot.

XOXOXO has been here way before the internet.

What, xoxo? I've heard of that way before the internet became popular (it means hugs and kisses, by the way).

You guys can stop blaming every abbreviation/symbol on the internet now. ;)

Yup, the "xoxo" abreviation was around long before the internet.
