What time to you wake up?

Cause my goal is to lose body fat, and when you do cardio in the morning you are exercising on an empty stomach, which burns the calories in your body fat rather than the calories from food.

It's not to do with empty stomach it's due to lower levels of glycogen in the liver, it dosn't actually do you much good as far as weight loss goes.
When you train with low glycogen/blood sugar your body is forced into a stress response (cortisol, adrenaline) which forces the body to keep the fats, you will certainly burn fat during the exercise but afterwards your body will slow right down and you will not be burning much fat later that day, it's better if you keep your energy levels as continous as possible.

It's best to have a small breakfast of fruit etc, wait an hour, go for your run then have another small breakfast, this sets the metabolism up for fat burning all day

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to start trying this one. I've also read that your well off taking 10 grams of protein powder before the morning cardio session to stop the breakdown of muscle.

Weekdays - 6am/7am

Weekends - 12pm/1pm

7:00 AM weekdays.

between 11 and 2 every other day.

I stay up til 2 on weekdays, and about 3 or 4 on weekends/break/vacation.

6:30 on weekdays.
10:20 on weekends.

I'm going to try and start getting more constant with my sleep patterns. Probably go to sleep around 10/11PM daily and wake up 6/7 daily. When I get more sleep, I tend to enjoy life a lot more. I think it's time to start getting in the habit of getting plenty of sleep.

I've also noticed I like waking up early, now that I've started to do that.

Initially it's a bitch to get used to. After a while it's not so bad, although now I piss everyone off in my house by waking them.

Yup, I do the same. Since I wake up at 6 every day I'm in the army, when I get home on leave I automatically wake up at around 7, while my family normaly wakes up at around 10-11... needless to say my sister (who sleeps in the room next to mine) isn't too happy with me (especially when my girlfriend is over and uhm).

Normally:

Mondays: 10.00
Tuesdays: 08.00
Wednesdays: 06.30
Thursdays: 06.30
Fridays: 06.30
Saturdays: 11.00
Sundays: 11.00

I hate you people. 5:30. Every week day. The only way that I can wake up is to take a shower. That gives me time to shower and eat breakfast and be at school by 7:10.

on a school day about 7:30
on the weekend about 10 or 11

where the hell do u live??
In England we have 2 be at school by 9:00Am

06:30 at the moment, because I work. 11-12 on the weekends.

Whenever I like during the summer (go to sleep around 3 or 4AM, wake up around 10 or 11AM). During school I wake up at 7:30 or 8AM.

If I have class on Tues and Thurs, then I'll wake up around 7:45 or 8:00am or so.

Otherwise it's whenever someone decides to wake my ass up (be it dog, person walking around, person kicking me because I passed out at their friends apartment, whatever).

Weekends/Holidays - 10:00-11:00am

@Grandmaontoast: I'm in the United States. My high school goes from 7:10 to 2:37.

Stupid. No matter how much sleep I have I can't function that early.

????

Is this a copy of a thread posted sometime last year?!?!

What time do you wake up in the morning (or whenever)?

Any day (school or weekend): around 6:00am, I'm a very early riser.

Usually 5:55am when i'm not working

7 am school days. uni actually starts at 9 am but it takes me 30 minutes to get there.
12 pm or later in weekends.

Yea seriously screw that. My college starts at 8:30, which is plenty early. My High School was generally 9:00, and I had trouble enough learning something new then

Now with working...I can do mindless tasks at 8:00 in the morning no problem - but actually trying to learn something new before 9:00 AM is pretty brutal in my opinion.

Weekdays for work - 6:35 AM
Weekends - Whenever I roll out.

Weekdays I wake up at 6 am due to my rude alarm. When I actually get up is about 7:30.

Weekends really depend on how much I've drank.

School days 7am...

And seeing that its 2am at the moment, I'm thankfull that I'm on holidays!

12-1pm, every day.

Goddamn I love holidays. I got 15 months of it now. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh :D

Ranges from 6:30am to 11:00am, depending if I'm working or not, or if I have some business to take care of.
