Ok...so im thinking i would have to play with the engine for like...i dont know... 3 days before playing the game.

What ya'll thing?? :afro:
 
in the first train scene im going to impulse 101 and kill everyone on board lol then play for real

impulse 101 = all weapons
 
lol.. take on combines with ya teeth....seeming as ya cant see your hands..so i assume you were relieved of them by the G-Man aswell.!!!
 
I'll play it as Valve wanted it to be played first (i.e. following the story, not doing anything silly), and discover the engine features when they are used as Valve wanted them to be used in the context of the game.

After it's done, i'll piss about lots :)

Lol people are so serious, here's my list:

On my way home, I'll show the box of to strangers on the subway, asking them if they want to touch it (the HL2 box, pervert).

At home, it'll finally hit me that I have HL2 and I'll cry for a long time (all the while installing the game).

Spend 10 hours just throwing cans around the trainstation and running away from the guards.

Now, on a serious note, I'll just play the single player first, wait for the MP community to set up stable servers, and then switch between SP and MP.
 
I choose other:

I will grab the game. Pray it plays smoothly.
Play it all night, Then if and when I get really stuck I'll just go stark raving mad and mess with the console and engine and stuff.
 
First post..anywho....when I get HL2 I will first sex0r it, then I will smoke a cigarette, at which point I will play with all of my CE goodies (excluding strategy guide should there be one), then I shall lock the door, turn off the phone, allow no interference from the outside world...then play....at least untill I have to go to work.

Anyhow, I will shake like an asp-leaf, start to cry, my adrenaline will pump like no time before, and I will (I'm not kidding) smell on the cd-case and the cd for so long time that I will get a boner (I did this with CS:CZ but I regret myself :x)

When installing the game, I will be liek "zOMG I HAEV HL2 DO YA WANNA CUM HERE???" to my friend, who's an pretty hl2-fanish friend. If he comes, I will be liek "MAOAHHAHAHA" and we both would get boners. :/ It's not gay having a boner if you play hl2. Okay? :D


Anyhow.. :x First playing.. And .. well, shake :x Cause it's FKING HALF-LIFE2 :| The sequal of Half-Life. Gordon Freeman 2. The plot with G-man will be clear, I hope. All my dreams comes true at one time and I will be very happy :D

Then, I don't dare play it anymore cause it's scary and I will let my friend play the scary part :D

I don't know. I will be pretty pleased, one year of wait and hype is over and I will be Blown away

1) Take the CD jewel case(s) out of the box
2) Open the case(s)
3) Put the CDs on my desk
4) USE THEM AS COASTERS AND PLAY WOW!

I will probably tell my fiancé that we need a break. I have to "be alone with my thoughts". And when I'm finished playing HL2 the first time, we'll have lots of make up sex; and then - I need to "be alone with my thoughts" again.

Honesty sucks when it comes to computer games..
 
1) run over to the store to get it
2) come home and finish my case mod/ upgrade
3) take pictures of me playing hl2 with my cool moded pc, then post.
4) play and play and play and play and play...
 
One day before the release i format my computer because i dont wanna have anything on my pc except hl² and it also improove the perfomance :naughty:
Then i will go to the shop and buy many fast food which can be made with water i also will buy a little fridge and also a lot of batteries for my wireless mouse.
Then i will clean up my room ,specally my computer and flat panel.
I will put all the food in my room and many drinks in my fridge because i dont wanna spend time goin outside my room. Next day when hl2 will be mine i will give my mum the key of my room and tell her to close it for a week.
After that i will be alone with my hl² :naughty:
But when the box will be in my hands i will hurt my self a bit to check if its not a dream :cheese:
Then i will kiss the box and smell it from every side maybe i also will taste a bit of it...:rolling:
but i will not install it immediately, first i will read everything what is in it(i know that this will be hard but i have to go trough that)
When i will be finished i will open the case sensitively and put out the cd and put it in the pc( i think this act will be better then sex;))
Then when the game will be installed on my pc and i will see the shortcut on my desk i will cry of happyness because this will be the same feeling like parents who just got a new baby have
Then i will finally play hl² :cheers:i will play play play play play :sniper:
when i will sleep(which will not happens often) i put some headphones on ,to hear the hl2 background music because i dont wanna forget the atmosphere in my dreams...
After a week when i completed the games a few times and played the multiplayer also some mods and tryed everything u can do with the game

I will go outside and i will have this warm feeling inside ,the feeling of pure happynes :smoking:

I will use my disc as a coaster, then when I finally get to windows logon, I will slot my disc into the drive
 
I will hold my copy with both hands to protect it from the outside world as I travel home by buss. Once I get home I'll take a jolt or two from my special Half-Life2-jolt-and-coke supply and install the game. Then I will jump up and down while making hamster-like sounds. After that I'll play the game.

though i will leave it on the bus seat if im coming home on the bus ill come to get it and think im missing something here and go AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH wheres my HL2 DOHDOHDOH and a couple of other words in the mean time lol
 
Im gonna open it. AND TYPE IN THE CD KEY IN STEAM AND START PLAYING! I am unworthy of touching the allmghty cds...
