Pirates.

But if I have to choose, Samurai, with the whole honor thing.
 
Ninjas, Samurai aren't practical at all with their honor crap.
 
Samurai are cooler to watch, since Ninjas are stealth assasins.

but seriously i'd say Samurai how ever i think it'd be more fun to be a (pirate) ninja.
 
Samurai's are cooler, I love their honor code and all that, and they sure knew how to handle a sword.

To a point yes. But the samurai was also trained in various forms of grappling skills. A ninja going head to head with a samurai was at a serious disadvantage, yet they also didn't play "fair"

If there was a fight between as samurai and a ninja in an open field...than the samurai would be my choice. If it was a fight in a wooded area, then the ninja would kick ass...

either way they both are cool.

I voted ninja because....well.....they're ninjas!!

You have a point. Ninjas were able to identify Many, many , many forms of vegitation. Any thing from healing wounds to just for eating. Also most Ninja lived in small villages or farm towns up high in the mountains, so woody areas are more Homey to them.
 
Ryu Hayabusa could take on all of the Samurais and Pirates at the same time with his pectorals.
 
samurai for sure, its an amazing way of life. samurai would win head to head with a ninja if they fought fair, but ninjas have no problem killing people in their sleep or anywwhere besides a battlefield. ninjas are dishounorable and would kill themselves if discovered to save their families honour.
 
Samurai's a cool, but Ninja's are cooler!

Also Samurai's aren't exactly "cool" in that they're passionate about being a Samurai and holding the code, Ninja's are just cold blooded killers!
 
Ninjas are faster, stronger, stealthier and more skilled. And they have better weapons. But I'd still say a Chinese Martial arts grandmaster would still kick their asses.

Samurais only have a bow and arrow and a katana.
 
a Samurai would easily out power a Ninja if he caught him in the open, the whole point of a Ninja is to have the advantage of surprise and stealth. Also the Ninja's weapons are usually very short blades and throwing stars, I don't think if he went at a Samurai directly he could penetrate the Samurai's armour. He'd have to get behind the Samurai and stab him in the back.
 
Ninjas have a katana. Samurais are slow, their armour wasn't intended for speed. A ninja doesn't need heavy armour. Their speed makes up for it. Ninjas have more than throwing stars. Kamas, nunchaku, sais and more.
 
Well if they're carrying all you think they carry I doubt they'd be able to move very fast.

Ninja's don't carry much so they can move fast, sure they'll use a Katana when push comes to shove but most of the time they prefere a stealthier approach, also Ninja's won't be trained in the art of swordsmanship as well as Samurai's will be. All a Samurai would have to do is stand still and wait for the Ninja to come to him.

Ninjas are heartless, cold-blooded assassins without honour.... so samurai for me.
 
Perhaps I should have voted for Ninjas, on the basis of their national security policies.

I never said Ninjas always carry that much. And that probably can fit all of those weapons and still run fast.
And you said all a samurai has to do is wait for the Ninja to come to him, you also agreed that they are stealthy. So the Ninja could sneak up on him and kill him.
 
I found out about the site from Maddox's site. Unfortunetly, not all of it is true, but it is funny.
 
alright, all you pirate fans out there, i have factualy evidence that ninjas can, and do, can kick a pirates ass

Well european medieval knights are cooler than both combined...

but i vote for samurai because ninjas are weak and pussy-footed (lmao i just made up a new word)
