I sorta knew gas was more expensive over yonder to cut how much people use it, but I didn't know it was that much!

You guys have no idea how lucky you are. I went to Australia recently and was shocked to see 4, 5 even 6 litre cars. 3 is a hell of a lot in the UK cause 80% of what we pay is tax.


EDIT: BTW I guarantee the brits will win this thread by some disgusting margin -> 99 pence isn't the highest I've ever seen :frown:

I'm guessing that would be the American gallon whichy is smaller than the gallon here in the UK.

But yeah, just about everywhere in UK is where I've paid the most for petrol

I've seen it as high as £4.50 per gallon in some places but generally its about 70-80p per litre.

My highest that I have paid in my state was around 1.90$.
I paid 1.68 the other day.

I use 87 Octane and quite often I will use an ethanol blended fuel.
