Well, if society hadn't become infected with gross overrating of liberal psycholigists, Corporal Punishment would still be seen as the general way to make children behave. I've never seen anything good come of "timeout", or the ever popular "Give them what they want, they'll shut-up." Not that Corporal Punishment is the only thing, another is ethics and values. Not that all values will stick with a child, but if you teach them from an early age, you can bet many will.

Sure, whatever, Badger. My parents spanked me when I was a child, then started grounding me when I got too old for spankings. But, I guess I'm just a violent monster, right? I guess I run around spanking Store Managers when I don't want to pay for my video games, right? I mean, I also go to Borders and spank the cashier so that I get my Coffee for free. No, Corporal Punishment helps teach you to behave. It also teaches dogs not to do their business on the floor. I'm not saying to hit your child, or to spank them like you're beating someone, only that it works better than giving in to f*cking tantrum throwing brats.

Yeah, but it's not as often as people say.

My Mother's step-father beat her when was with her Mother, and her Mother was/still is a drunk.

My Mother is neither.

BTW: People who don't give a damn tend to have parents who didn't give a damn about them. Maybe if parents would pay attention to their children, and teach them right from wrong instead of telling them to do as they believe, people would give a damn.

mmmm yes, most kids are annoying. I'm only 17 but I can't stand conversing with many of my friends. For example, Every day at school during lunch, one of them will scream "FU*K!" And laugh because the lunch supervisors won't do anything. They do that every single day. Ya think it would get old after the first 5 months. On the other hand, I think I am the only hardcore gamer in my school. (My school is quite small, perhaps numbering 800 total.) So, it sucks because whenever I start rambling about HL2, they just stare at me and say the standard responce, "Are you on drugs?!" (I think it should become a law that anyone that says that should be shot.
No one has even heard of HL2, Doom 3, Stalker, Far Cry, UT2004 ...it's so sad. I wish I could have a discussion about any game except Halo. Christ, everyone loves Halo, that's all I ever hear. I guess their just missing out. Ignorance is bliss
