if you "always seem to have problems with ntfs" then you're in the minority...nobody i know has ever had one single problem that could be traced back to the file system being the problem.
if you don't understand all the stuff in that link, then just take my word for it...it's better. the things that stick out in that link to me are the ones in the last section:
max fault tolerance
high disk space economy
high performance on large drive volumes
compared to fat32 in these regards, ntfs is vastly superior
Unless you have a small volume and you don't need security. For example, on my Win XP box, I have three NTFS partitions and one four gigabyte FAT32 partition for my page file. (Yes, it is too big.)
A problem with NTFS more likely indicates a problem with the OS.
