Thats the reply I was afraid to get.

Online tests are pretty damn bad, they will be way off. An online test said I had an IQ of 165. My "official" IQ is really around 125.

How do I find out my IQ? I took the test and it asked me to purchase something to see it.

You should be able to still continue without paying.
Btw,I took another look at my IQ points,it was 145,not 124,strange......

It was a sample... I don't know my real score.

EDIT: now I know what happened... Why did you ****ing give me the link when logged into your own account? You should have my score right now. Thanks for telling us.

Well take the real test,lol.
It didn't cost me,just proceed.

163
18
yes

but I'm pretty sure that's not my real IQ. They boost those scores to get people to buy their certificates. I'd like to know if anyone here has had a real IQ test. The kind administered by a professional with a PHD.

The online tests are all bogus... I'd like to take a real one.

they all just want money from you one way or another..

1.My IQ is so high...it would like...do something.
2.17
3.Yes

Ever notice on the internet that usually over 1/4 of people who respond have IQ's that would qualify them as geniouses?

Online IQ tests are worthless and people like to lie. Unless you have actually take a real IQ test posting your IQ really doesn't say anything. Heck it is even my personal belief that even real IQ tests won't actually tell the true story. If you ask me the power of the brain could never be measured in such simple terms. Knowing your IQ will really only limit you. And no I have never taken a real IQ test before.

To reiterate all the points made in this thread.

Online IQ tests = bullshit.

But on a further note....

Real IQ tests = bullshit.

If what my IQ tester for some preppy school program said is true, then I am a complete and absolute genious worthy of Stephen Hawking. I excel above all my peers and no one in my age range except for a select handful can compete with me.

Lies.

It depends how you mean, if you're a true genious, then you should be ripped out of the normal school you are at and put into a school that would better suit your needs.

But IQ isn't about knowledge, it is about solving problems and acquiring knowledge.

I think IQ tests were invented sheerly for bragging rights. Does IQ affect anything ever? I mean, jobs are usually decided on qualifications and the like, but IQ?

We are confirming that your IQ Test score was: 157
And I can get it on paper for a mere $9.95!

Finally, I have been validated as the genius I allways knew I was.

Now wheres my Nobel Prize?

I don't trust IQ tests.

Internet IQ tests are borderline useless. Its like an internet medical examination- It won't work.
Anyway, its become more and more obvious over the years that IQ's are a really bad indicator of intelligence.

I did it a couple of years ago and got 164.
Not that it proves anything, I don't feel that smart. I'm just good at puzzles and stuff.

The best way to get a good look at your intelligence is to look at your life and evaluate it yourself. You don't need a psychological test (which is inherantly flawed because it is designed by a person) to tell you what your intelligence is.

What are your school/university grades?

They probably hold better truth in your intelligence. At least in your study areas anyway.

My grades just show how lazy I am, or how late I was up the night before the exam.

Hehe, well there's always that.

My point was, I don't think everything can be determined in a single test. Unless it's a medical test.
